Blackshark V3 Pro issues (audio fade-in and random connection loss)

Hi everyone!

I really like my Razer BlackShark V3 Pro headset but I have a few issues sadly that I can not fix.

- When there is no audio playing for a few minutes, the audio then played in ‘faded-in’. This is very annoying it basically mutes shot notification and short voice chat moments. I can't find to turn this off anywhere.

- The headset stops audio all together sometimes, it still shows in Windows and is playing but no sound. Reconnecting the dongle or powering the headset on and off again fixes this.

- Synapse tells me to update the firmware yet I already upgraded to the version that is listed on the website from August 1st 2025.

hey there, same exact complains and problems. the sound just cuts for no reason and you have to turn off and on the headset to get it back to work?

Having a similar issue, sound goes distorted for like a second every now and again and sound completely cuts off and I need to turn off and back on the headset, 3 days old and about to return it, a fix for the issue would be amazing!

Same thing happening here, audio randomly cuts off yet the headset is still on. To fix it I have to turn it off and on again. Any answer to this? 30 days for return passed already and I can’t return them.

I am using Windows 11 fully updated.

i have the same issue. really starting to bug me. am surprised other people aren’t mentioning it.

to replicate the issue: play music, pause music, wait 10 seconds, play music again. when you play music again the first 1s the volume slowly fades in. very annoying for when pausing videos and restarting after coming back as you miss the first moments of dialogue.

i have tried every setting in synapse from on/off ANC, audio enhancements, etc. i have tried wired and wireless. it’s the same issue no matter what i do. i have also tried disabling power saving but that did not fix it.

i feel like it’s a software issue so i have to believe it can be fixed. @ Razer support, please tell me if u can replicate so i know im not crazy. i’d love to keep this headset but this issue is getting on my nerves.

I could kinda resolve the issue by disabling the ultra low latency mode. Since i turned that off i did not have any problems anymore.

edit: i only had the second problem OP mentions in the original post

I also have issue number one (the fade in), and haven’t found a definitive answer online as of this writing. Haven’t seen anything in the options in synapse

@PatR.Dale @DaZeFAMOUS @JaPPa03 can any of you capture the experience in a video of the fad? I have a case opened with Razer and they’re asking me for a video example. but i’m finding it impossible to capture the headphone audio properly shooting it with my phone.

Found this thread a week ago and started experiencing this same issue shortly after purchasing my new Blackshark V3 Pro headphones. About every 24 hours I would have the same issue of my sound would stop in the headphones, but my mic would still be working, so I knew the headphones were still powered on. The only way to resolve it was on fully power off the headphones, then power them back on, and I would be good for about another ~24 hours.

I have since tried turning off the ‘Ultra Low Latency’ option, which was on by default when I first connected the new headphones. Since I have turned off Ultra Low Latency, I have not had the issue. This has been going on now for at least three days that I have not had the loss of sound in my headphones.

I will keep monitoring and hope this continues to resolve the issue. I will report back any changes.

Hopefully others will find this fix and thread helpful.

Experiencing the exact same issue: the sound suddenly cuts out, and YouTube audio randomly stops when jumping to different parts of the video timeline

I may of found a solution

I went into the Razer Synapse on PC

Connected my Headset to the Software

In Devices is your headset and click on it

Then go into Sound and scroll all the way down to Game/Chat Balance and put the slider in the middle of game and chat audio

I found out that it always maxed out the chat audio by default when turning on the headset so putting it in the middle should work

Just an update a week or so later. I still have not had any further disconnects or sound cutting out after turning off the ‘Ultra Low Latency’ option.

I experience the audio fade-in issue as well.

I first noticed this issue in Youtube while seeking. I thought it was because I put my browser in the Chat channel but it occurs in both chat and game channels.

I tried turning off/on Audio enhancements in Windows settings for the game and chat channels as well as changing connection modes but issue persists.

I did not have this issue with bluetooth to my phone.

I read from reddit that Razer said the fade-in issue is an “expected behavior to protect from sudden loud sounds” BS, but I find that if audio is playing in both game and chat channels, the issue is not present.

Now they just need to fix it so that the issue occurs even when there’s audio in both game and chat channels. /s

Is the Ultra low latency`setting wich fixed it for you guys the one in the NVIDIA settings? or is there a specific one for Razer?

Hope Razer fixes this issue soon

Same issue here. Random sound loss while using the Headset. Turning it off and on again fixes this. Other people can still here me when it happens, but sound is completely gone.

This is super annoying - please fix it with a software and/or firmware update!

You’ll find it in Synapse. Just open your headset settings from the overview and navigate to „enhancement“.
