looks cool, doesn't work at all even on a fresh windows 10 pro, virgin install with only OBS and chrome installed

I have no experience with that. You should be able if you listen through audio monitoring over the mixer but I figure you will need another microphone plugged to your console to speak with your team

you have your controller conected with the 3,5 mm in ythe mic port of the box ?

Ive never tried playing coop games on the PS4 while streaming. I leave those to my PC. I mostly play single player games on console. To get audio through you have only 2 ways to make it happen. If you're using OBS under sources add a Display Capture then on the drop down menu choose Razer Ripsaw HD HDMI source. After it gets added to your mixer right click and select Advance Audio Properties and select the Ripsaw HD HDMI source under Audio Monitoring. Select Monitor Only and that should get your audio through. Another way is well just plug an Earphone or Headphone through the aux in your capture card

can you do part aswell? in stream?

Hi Rosier. Im sorry can you say that again? If you're asking if I can do recordings with the Razer Ripsaw HD sure. But the clicking and popping remains for the audio. Im sure this might be okay for some but seeing as my 2016 Ripsaw never did this theres no reason for anyone to accept it for the newer one. The only really incentive is the 4k pass through which Elgato and Avermedia also have.

Stay away from this Razer Ripsaw HD. Its been a week of testing and reading about how I can fix my issue with it but theres just simply no way to fix my problem. Ive done streaming before both in PC and Console so dont quote me about not knowing about basic set up etc. I own the older Ripsaw and that one had no problem with audio. This HD version keeps picking up some crackling and clipping sound all through out stream. Ive even tested on multiple USB ports to see if it was causing the issues but no luck. The main problem with this device is it doesnt have its own software to tinker with its settings. Sure it shows up in Synapse 3 but it doesnt really let you do anything besides mess with the volume mixer for its aux and mic input. Nothing that fixes the crackling sound or any setting to adjust the audio frequency. This is the last time I buy a Razer product thats not a mouse or keyboard you guys literally have no idea how to make anything else work properly

Here you can listen to the crackling and popping of the input audio. It gets really annoying once the music starts kicking in and so the clicking increases even more.

I have a Xbox one X, and a ASUS ROG Strix Curved XG32VQ, my problem is I cannot 2560 x 1440 to passthrough, at 60hz or above. Only able to get 1060 passthrough. Any idea what is wrong please.

Sorry 1080.

I currently switched to 1440p monitor @ 165hz and it turned my streaming world upside down. I was currently using the live gamer HD which is a pcie capture card and I was unable to properly stream at 720p anymore because of the screen size and screen hz rate. The issue is that you want to take advantage of the nice 600 dollar plus 1440p monitor I just got and the capture card was not allowing me to do that. I tried all the work arounds that I found online and youtube. None of them worked easily and some games just didn't work.

I currently tried this on both the Elgato HD 60 pro and the Avermedia Live gamer HD. Both of these capture cards will force your game to output at 1080p 60.

I tried the extends monitor work around where you have OBS on 2 computers and you use the preview window to get the stream to the other pc, but this is one of the worst visual quality routes you can go. This in my opinion should not be a work around. If people are used to having a 720p 60hz stream, they will be extremely disappointed in this. If you are deciding to do it this way your stream is going to suffer hugely on the quality front. Isn't that the point of having a capture card in the first place. Also there are other inherent issues like audio delay that can be tricky to fix. All I care about with streaming is that the capture card device will not force my main gaming PC into the resolution as the streaming PC. To get the best possible image quality and smooth motion, cloning the main display is the best route.

The question is will the Razer ripsaw HD accept a 1440p signal at 144hz. Im not interested in pass through, and I also not to worried about screen tearing on the streaming pc side.

i was wondering how the ripsaw compares to the elgato. haven't quite found an answer yet but thanks for shedding a little bit of light on output issues

I have some popping sounds coming through with Audio Input Capture as Microphone Razer Ripsaw HDMI

One odd thing to add my Samsung tv has one connect hdmi port where every hdmi cable is plugged and everytime I plug in the Razer Ripsaw HD my Samsung soundbar would disconnect and wont work again unless I do a power cycle restart.
it's true but i link it
not bad! I like the small, sleek design
