Hello everyone,

I’ve created this topic in order to seek some help through the razer community.

I’ve always been playing with deathadder mouses so a few days ago i decided to step up & get myself a wireless one (deathadder v2 x hyperspeed as the title says).

First time i used it, i noticed that i had some connexion issues through the 2.4ghz dongle :

When i was clicking, the mouse sometimes wouldn’t click once & some other times react like i was holding the button or clicking twice. Also the mouse wheel was kinda acting crazy & going up or down on its own from time to time without even touching it.

I first thought that it was the mouse itself that was factory broken so i returned it & got a new one but still get the same problem.

After trying a lot of different fixes i’ve seen on theses forums, the only fix that worked to stabilize the mouse connexion through the 2.4ghz dongle is using the dongle utility from the official website & pairing the mouse to the dongle manually : now everything works perfectly fine.

My problem is that everytime i turn off / reboot my PC, the mouse starts acting weird again so i have to pair it to the dongle manually every time i boot on my PC which is really frustrating…

I already uninstalled synapse & every razer devices things & reinstalled it clean running synapse 3 as administrator but it doesn’t change anything.

 

Does anyone knows what’s going wrong or has any idea of what could i do to fix this problem ?

I have exactly the same problem with the same mouse, I used the mouse for almost 7 months then it started acting strange, I got it replaced under warranty but the problem persists even with the new mouse, it works fine over BT. I tried all the usb ports but nothing works. I dont know what to do.

Hi, same problem here. It was the dongle fault, a capacitor was not making contact. i’m using the mouse right now. It’s working normally after resoldering the capacitor. This just shows the quality of razer dongles. P.S: I did not cause any damage to the dongle, it never fell, was never hit, etc.

I had the same problem, because i broke my older dongle and i bought a new one from china, 

You have to dowload the razer dongle utility and pair your dongle, its easy because the utility teachs how to put your device to enter in pairing mode

Exactly the same, but with my Deathadder V3. I can’t even get the pairing app detect the dongle! Very infuriating for such an expensive mouse. @Razer Admin is there any discussion about solving this issue? After my review, no one will buy this mouse ever again!

i was having the same issue with my dongle, worked fine for 3 days after the first pairing, but them starts to acting weird in 2.4 connection.

did you maintain your dongle connected in your pc? so, i start to remove the dongle after using and starts working perfectly, this may work for you too

I also have a problem with the mouse after 6 months, it glitches every minute and does random inputs. Randomly scrolls, does random flicks up or down or sometimes it doesn’t register clicks. This all happened after i got a new pc, on my older one i had windows 10  and the mouse had been working perfectly fine, but now on my new pc with win 11 it  does random stuff. I was thinking it might be something with the software, something that interrupts the dongle.

Hi! To enter pairing mode first of all download dongle utility and it gives you a tutorial on how to enter pairing mode. To enter pairing mode you hold button 4 and scroll wheel button for 3 seconds!
