I'm no longer wanting to run Windows on my blade 14, however every linux distro I seem to try has an issue detecting the networking driver being used and finding it has been an absolute hassle. Has anyone else had any luck installing linux?

try Manjaro Gnome 40.3 I'm using it on my Blade 15 advanced and runs excellent on it , battery life is amazing i promise you. i use it as my main daily driver but if I'm gaming i switch to windows. of course this means I'm dual booting to Linux
on the 2022 model both work with some tinkering, but i suggest to update the EC firmware on windows first which seems to fix an usb stability issue (in my case my btusb device was sometimes not detected, this issue is gone after EC update).

for wifi you need a modified firmware, i have the file on my github:

https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=215946

for btusb you need to modify the module, i have a patch on my github:

what isnt working for me is the built in mic, or the mic through the headphone jack. i assume the alc897 codec needs specific pin configurations, but have not found a way how to work out what they should look like.

Did you get high refresh rate to work on the Blade?
