Razer Basilisk Giveaway!

Hello Insiders!

My name is Jenjar, and I am a Razer Vanguard here on Insider. Although I have only picked up this role recently, I have been a part of this community for over four years, and I have been a Razer fan for around five years, starting with a Deathstalker and Deathadder before Chroma was the big craze.

I am doing this month's Vanguard Giveaway, and this time we are giving away a Razer Basilisk to one lucky user. Reply to the thread with your favorite FPS game and tell us why you love it.

I will pick the lucky winner of the Basilisk in two weeks, along with a couple runner ups for some sweet Razer Silver. Good luck everyone!

My favorite FPS will always be Wolfenstein Enemy Territory. Short story - free online FPS, set during World War II. There were 2 teams (allies & axis). The gameplay was similar to CTF (capture the flag), but more expanded (escort the truck/tank, steal the gold or some secret documents, plant the bomb, and blow the radars etc).

Yes I know, that it's old, and almost dead, but I liked the game "physics" (strafejumps, trickjumps etc), non-toxic community (not as toxic as CS:GO :p), and the speed of the game.

Big map pool (some maps were ported from Return to Castle Wolfenstein), and class based team, which consisted of soldier (heavy weaponz), medic (as title says), field ops (gives ammo, calls air strikes), covert ops (camper!, and could stole your clothes :P), engineer (plant the bombs, repair trucks/tanks etc.).

It is possible to play W:ET in 2019 - there's an open source project called ET: Legacy, which is constantly updated. There are many servers available, but I found, that only few of them are almost full.
Modern Warfare 2. It had a amazing campaign story line with pretty good graphics at the time lets be honest and the spec ops was an enjoyable thing if anyone ever got bored and then there's the multiplayer and oh my god was the multiplayer an experience, you haven't lived if you haven't experienced lobbies in MW2 during its prime.
I know this is probably very original and all but counter-strike global offensive it's quick with dull moments few and far between with less toxic people than most games I play and far fewer screechers which are always bonuses all around I love the community and love the game
I dont know much about this.
The basilisk is great! Its been my first real gaming mouse, i love it.
I would have to say Battlefield is my favorite FPS. I got hooked years ago. Now finally getting back into gaming.

neato, wow this is like really cool
I would have to go with Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus!
My Favorite right now is Apex, its fast and its fun. 🙂
Ive only ever played Fortnite as far as FPS games go but I like it because it's just an all around fun game. I may suck at the game but its also cool being able to spectate other players after dying in the game.
Thanks m8 😉

Counterstrike would have to be the game that got me into FPS, Modernwarefare 2 kind of took over put a lot of time into that game as of now though I would have to say just the dynamics of Overwatch really get it done for me.

My favorite FPS game goes all the way back to the Gamespy days, and Kali.net, when Quake 2 was popular, the Soundtrack was one of the best of all time, and countless nights spent trying to frag people. While it's super outdated compared to the Fortnite's, the Call of Duty's, Quake 2 was a classic.

So, Quake 2 is my choice.

The giveaway already ended. QUAKE 2 is a great game though.

That is a tough question. I'd have to say of all the FPS games I've played Battlefield 4 has the be the most memorable. I've had great times with clan members as we used to play this game for hours on end together. I miss those days. Now it's PUBG and Apex Legends for now until something better comes along. Just doing the Battle Royale kick for now. 🙂
Tomorrow will be picked the winner or the day after ?
hmmm...lots of fps comes to my mind but vietcong probably would be my favorite.younger population probably never played it and that is shame because you didnt even need serial key to play online and servers were cheat proof 🙂
