Hi all,
I have a dead Razer Blade 2017 that has been sitting on my desk for more than a year. It suffered from the frustratingly common dead motherboard issue. I paid to have it fixed once and when it broke again for the same reason less than a year later, I decided it wasn't worth paying almost $1000 to fix this piece of junk again.
My question: Is there any point in keeping the old Blade? Is it worth reselling or recycling/harvesting the parts? I have a Razer Blade Stealth 2016 (which is also a deteriorating piece of junk that almost never gets used) - is there any way of swapping the parts to make them work (ex. moving the motherboard from the Stealth to the Blade 14 or swap other parts vice versa)? Anyone have experience with this? Or should I toss it in the trash?
Thanks in advance for any help!
