I agree. We need new firmware. This controller is expansive and does not work. I need play without drifting.
I still in v1.02 beta. I need new fiemware.
Ok here's the think, just talked with the support, they tell me that the v1.04 is only for the newly manufactured units and not the old ones, the old ones, which are ours have the v1.03 they can update to. I was told to ask for a replacement by the support so i guess u should all do the same. Google razer live chat support, click on the console peripherals and talk with an agent right away to start the RMA process. In case u got it from a reseller and not Razer then contact ur reseller asap, send it back to them, in case your reseller doesnt RMA it then Razer will.

check the thread above for all the info i got about the new batch
I went to the store coolblue NL ....
Unfortunately guy at customer service don't know exactly what we can do . The can try to ask for RMA but from their supplieer for EU. So they don't know if i get new one is this with new version 1.04.
They make a internal ticket and i have to wait for more info. I took the controller back home.
They also sad that if i want RMA directly from Razer i have to make RMA request with Razer and send controller to them .

check the other thread, it has a link of the razer live chat support, talk with them about all of this, im sure it can help and post in the other thread ur experience, lets keep the other thread high on the list so people can see what they need to do cuz right now there's a solution, u just have to razer's support and RMA it, thats it
I see one difficulty ... They keep saying that the latest firmware version is 1.03...

Your link is about your story with the live chat...
Users here requires the software instead to actually test and try before comments here lol.

Will you be able to upload it somewhere to save mankind here? 😃

If u actually take the time to read what i wrote u will see that the version 1.04 isnt available for the older patches of controllers. Its a newly manufactured model, i asked the official service of Razer here and they told me from their understanding they made a hardware change so its impossible for the older batch of controllers to get the v1.04 hence i say RMA the controller.
i asked on chat about 1.04 ... they confirmed existing of 1.04 but they also sad that this patch not solving drifting issues. I get refund from my local store and i bought new one from Razer store will see what happens next ...

Yes I understand the issue of RMA-ing it..
However Razer still probably wants me to drag the product until you cannot do anything any more lol

Peripheral Support (2/4/2019, 11:26:21 PM): You are welcome! Based on the description you have provided, you are having an issue with your Razer Raiju Ultimate.
Peripheral Support (2/4/2019, 11:26:35 PM): And thus, you need a firmware update.
Me (2/4/2019, 11:26:46 PM): I would like to enquire on the firmware update on v1.04, i believe its not official yet and the update is internally from customer support
Me (2/4/2019, 11:27:06 PM): yes I just got the controller one day ago and the drifting issue is still happening
Me (2/4/2019, 11:27:54 PM): had already updated to v1.03 through this link, /note-regarding-the-razer-raiju-ultimate-and-tournament-edition.46534/ but still not successful
Peripheral Support (2/4/2019, 11:31:45 PM): Got it. So sorry for all the troubles this has caused you, John. Yes, we have received an update regarding the Fv1.04, though, the firmware V1.04 is the manufacturer release for production and is not meant for customer updates actually. The firmware V1.04 has improvements that help in manufacturing process and does not affect existing units in the market. If you're on firmware V1.03, you have the latest firmware with the latency on par with V1.04. However, since there are cases unresolved with the Fv1.03, our developers are still working on the next version of the firmware meant for customer updates.
Me (2/4/2019, 11:33:07 PM): I would still like to try out 1.04
Me (2/4/2019, 11:33:12 PM): since 1.03 doesn't work still
Me (2/4/2019, 11:35:45 PM): i see... the updater be at the forum?
Me (2/4/2019, 11:35:58 PM): or can I request one to be sent to me via email for the link if possible
Peripheral Support (2/4/2019, 11:37:05 PM): Normally, once it is officially out, it should be posted in our website since we have no options to have it sent manually via email as this firmware update is meant for our customers who have performed the previous firmware updates.
Me (2/4/2019, 11:37:41 PM): the website is still on firmware v1.001 by the way. I doubt the new one will be at the website lol
Me (2/4/2019, 11:38:21 PM): http://drivers.razersupport.com//index.php?_m=downloads&_a=view&parentcategoryid=794&pcid=792&nav=0,349,792
Peripheral Support (2/4/2019, 11:38:22 PM): I have checked that, yes, this is to prevent the latest version to damage the controllers that are not yet updated with the previous versions.
Me (2/4/2019, 11:38:57 PM): is it possible to rollback to previous versions?
Peripheral Support (2/4/2019, 11:39:04 PM): No worries, our developers are working on the latest update.
Peripheral Support (2/4/2019, 11:39:21 PM): Rolling back to previous versions is not possible, though.
Me (2/4/2019, 11:39:52 PM): well.. if there is no solution now then there is nothing i can do but wait lol
Peripheral Support (2/4/2019, 11:40:58 PM): I am so sorry for the troubles, John. 😞 We are indeed trying to have a fixed solution to this issue, the reason why our developers are already working on the 4th version of the firmware.
Peripheral Support (2/4/2019, 11:41:30 PM): I wish I could provide you an ETA, but we also have no visibility.

Let me be honest here. I was told the same thing that they have been told the v1.03 is on par with the newly manufactured v1.04, which is what they are told propably to avoid people RMAing their controllers, i realised that Razer told their agents that to stall for some time till their team finds a fix for their older batch and save some money till then. Imagine having 100k models returned or having 100k models waiting and then renewing their firmware and being fixed. I ofc mentioned to the agent that people who i talked to in the forums got the new batch and its been working perfectly while the same people, as well as me, who got the v1,03 on the older batch had the same problems so it isnt accurate and ofc if there's a hardware change it doesnt matter if the firmware is exactly the same IF the new hardware responds differently to it, for all we know they might have tried to use a cheaper hardware than the first raiju and then decided to use the original raiju's. What they told me is that they dont know more themselves, ifs what Razer announced to them and the info they are willing to share. So what do we do with this info? Nothing, its useless.

Also u completely and utterly missed the point on my first post, on my reply and on ur conversation with them. IF THE NEWLY MANUFACTURED MODEL HAS DIFFERENT HARDWARE THEN YOU CANT USE THE V1.04 BECAUSE IT WONT WORK ON THE OLDER BATCHES. My brother i made it very clear every time, ur a stubborn one, arent ya? Instead of asking for the firmware which wont be happening, RMA ur controller instead, the warranty team yesterday accepted my request, today i was sent 2 emails, there were 2 ways to going forward, one wanted us to cut the cord in half and the serial number sticker and send some photos, no way im doing that and the other is actually sending the controller back all together. I chose the 2nd. I was also told Razer will cover every cost but it will take more time than cutting my wire etc but i prefer to do it this way.

Instead of insisting on the new firmware, ask for a replacement with the v1.04 instead. Nor i nor anyone in here can help u any more.RMA your controller and ask for a replacement with the new batch.
Giving up on waiting and will contact my reseller tomorrow. Can´t use it playing Fortnite and no news whatsoever about 1,04 firnware
