I have Razer Blade (7th Gen Intel i7) which I bought brand new from Razer.
Within first 15 months I had 2 issues with motherboard and a battery and had to sent to Razer for repair according to warranty.
So, Razer replaced motherboard and battery two times within two years in 2017 and 2018.
Last year I had an issue with battery again - it swollen. But since it was already out of warranty I had to replace it myself.
The new battery didn't last too long - in 3 months computer stopped turning on without being plugged-in. Though(!!!) system showed that battery is charged up to 97% an battery report shows good capacity.
I got new battery and again in 3 months the same situation - good battery reports, 97% charged, though laptop isn't working on battery. I'm now sure the problem is not battery but something wrong with the laptop itself.
Another issue - thee screen is blinking....It's not usually a problem since I work with external monitor. But still.
What you would suggest?

Hello, I also detected recently that my battery swelled up on my 2017 Blade.
As I must change that battery before she broke my trackpad (I already can see a thin crack on it), did you buy a specific brand of battery ?
I also think that the battery problem is not only due to a poor battery quality. But, as I have to buy one and want to avoid adding a too poor quality component to the hardware problem, it would be of great interest to know where and what you bought.

There's not much that I can add since the battery replacement is from a third party. Do check your inbox for the battery calibration guide. For now, I will lock the thread to curb the conversation to PMs. But let me know if you want this to be reopened. I can always move the thread to our Systems Boards.
