Hello all I just upgraded my laptops memory with Kingston HyperX DDR4 3200 C20 2x16GB. does the laptop support the higher speed since its running them on lower clock speeds at the moment at
32GB SODIMM DDR4 clocked @ 2933 MHz

is there a way to let system use full bus speeds. I didnt see any configuration in bios.

Any suggestions on this? Its not effecting my performance in anyway but why not be able to use it to the max. I guess I can directly contact support chat
You can enable the XMP 3200 memory profile in the BIOS if you upgrade to the latest 1.03. But note that it does disable undervoting if that's important to you. There's no way to go back to 1.00 once you upgrade.

Also, I bought 32GB of Crucial Ballistix 3200 memory and upgraded to 1.03. Unfortunately, when I enable to XMP option in the BIOS, when I exit the bios, the laptop bricks, requiring pulling the CMOS battery to go back to default BIOS settings. So now I lost undervolting and can't run my memory faster either. Support hasn't been much help as of yet.

Damn that sounds scary, Thank you for the reply. Bricking the system wont go well with me since i wont be anywhere near to get support, Ill just have to wait for now. Let me know if you get it resolved. Also where did you get the bios update.
It's not a big deal to pop the small CMOS battery to reset the BIOS. It's very accessible. It did give me a bit of a scare though.
