I recently acquired the Razer Kraken Pro headset during the Christmas Season. I have had little experience with Gaming Headsets, and I have a question:

Is the Audio/Mic Splitter required to use the mic on the headset? Or does the headset's cable have a mic cable already in it?

    Thanks in advance!

Kraken Pro has a plug like smartphone's earphone, it has stereo audio + mic on the same plug.
If you want to use it you'll need a pc with this output, like Razer Blade and Apple's laptops. otherwise, if your pc has separate audio and mic plugs you'll need to use this audio/mic splitter.

Exactly. Most newer computers have a joined audio and mic port. You will need either razers adapter or a cheaper 3rd party one to use it on computers with separate audio and mic jacks, and/or if you want to use the ports on one of the blackwidow models. Also, if you would want to use the blackwidow ones with a computer with a joined port, you will need another adapter from separate to joined audio and mic port.
