Ok so razer recently refreshed their mid range blade.
They could refresh their pro line too

    So list start.

1.Dual RTX 2080 (Most likely a different model)
    for crazy pc performance

    2. G Sync HDR(and maybe a 4k 144hz screen if we get crazy lucky)
This would be good considering we could experience HDR on gaming laptops for the first time

3.A laptop Mechanical keyboard.(if we get crazy lucky optomechanical)
This could be good considering other companies have done it.(most likely a different model)

    4. A 9th gen 8 core laptop processor
This would make the laptop bigger but more powerful(most likely a different model)

    5.Quad Raid 0
This would equal blazing fast read/right speeds

    6.Killer Wi-Fi and LAN
This could be overpowered with really low ping.

7.Touchscreen in place of the trackpad
Every gamer uses a mouse instead and avoids the touchpad. so why not make it work as a second screen. streamers could use it to review chat on twitch, YouTube, etc

8.More options for screens with the same GPU
we need this because I would like to run a demanding game in higher refresh rates without buying a monitor with the pc.

9.Watercooling dock model (as seen on the Asus GX800VH) It could come in really handy and allow for even more fps to be squeezed out

10.A True 7.1 surround sound card
This would allow for the Tiamat 7.1 v2 to be used with a laptop

Any other absurd things in the laptop industry to put in a gaming laptop that I missed(I missed the triton 900's flipping display because that's a bit too absurd)

Nah seems reasonable in a slim form. I believe. But this made me realize maybe I should have waited for them to update the pro before buying the razer blade 15.

    But...
    - it would have to be as huge as the Acer Predator 21 X
    - it would need 2 or 3 power bricks
    - you would need to give Razer your first born, probably in a ceremony that would include the sacrifice of a goat too

I don't see Razer buidling a clunky 45 pounds machine. That wouldn't be innovation.

It's mid-September and there aren't even hints at a rumor of a Blade Pro update. Should this be concerning?

They are probably waiting for Nvidia to announce the mobile versions of the RTX/new GTX

With the heat problems the current intel chips have (on all laptops), doesn't seem much point, and as Badgerista said probably around the time the new mobile RTX cards are out.

Also why risk cannibalising sales from the blade 15 (which they cant seem to make enough of already ;) )

I do love the touch screen (or even something like the zephyrus numpad for a dual function mouse.

Maybe thin bezel 17" screen, 3 NVME drives (possible not necessarily full) and blinding thermals

To be fair though, the blade 15 is a beast, and once you add a razer core+1080Ti it's still less than the 17" pro and more than enough for full desktop gaming and awesome graphics on the go

the new Blade Pro has a lot to live up to now ;) (imho anyway)

Yes agree Blade 15 is a beast, just correcting core+1080ti outperforms Blade Pro gtx1080, even with Blade 2017 setting. For comparison:
    Blade Pro
    Blade 14+ 1080ti core
    Blade 15 OC 210/700
So yeah they should update that.

I mentioned it to show how the goalposts have moved.

If they kept with existing tech, a 1080gtx is as good as it could get, and that wouldn't justify the price increase and wouldn't be worth an extra £1.5-2k

So clearly they have to wait for the mobile RTX, and even newer Intel chips before releasing the Blade pro

Also as they can't make enough blade 15s, no way they can also manufacture Blade Pro's just yet

I get that haha. We all knew we were going to have to wait for the next gen gpus, and that wait shouldn't be much longer from now. It's just that the blade pro is overdue for a refresh. The cpu, gpu, thermals, screen, and other components are all decently outdated, and the fact that there aren't even buzzing rumors about a potential refresh is concerning to those of us who have been waiting at least a half-year for the next update. The blade pro, while still on top of the mobile PC game, is no longer "top of the line" like it is supposed to be, and some of us are just impatiently anxious to fork over money equivalent to that of a decent used car for one that has newer features. The blade 15 is great, don't get me wrong, but at the end of the day, blade pro > blade 15

Hardware wise yes but not performance wise. They should make the same thing like on Blade 15, it’s the best gaming performance on 1070maxq class atm. Hardware specs (outside outdated 7th gen cpu) and repair fee is higher than Blade 15, not the performance;)
