My favorite thing about the Phone 2 is that it seems like it was made for my interests and priced at my pricepoint. I'm loving the dual speakers, the buttery-smooth screen, the great gaming performance and the ringtones.

Gotta be the 120Hz screen. Still unbeatable to this day!

My favourite feature of my Razer Phone is how different it is from my old iPhone 5. I've been in Apple land for so long, so having my first Android phone be one made by Razer is awesome.

Ok, for real, the speakers on this thing are fantastic! I've never owned a phone loud enough to be able to rely on its own speakers for general playback. Yes, I have a Leviathan Mini when I want a little more boost in volume and extra bass (like if I'm listening to music from my phone while I'm in the shower - RP1, so it's not IP rated), but 90% of the time I just use the phone as is.

  7. Fave thing is the metal & glass construction. Feels solid.

My favorite feature of the Razer Phone 2 has got to be the Dual Front Firing Stereo Speakers. Immersive sounds while gaming, music loud enough to rock out to & a cinematic experience while watching a video.

Is there any chance android 9 will be coming to the razer phone 1?

Yes. When will be rolled out fully to all RP 2, after that team will switch to RP 1 and if we are lucky will be released for end of the summer

So... a year after pie was released and two years after the Razer Phone 1 was released?

It's not about that. If you followed recent news then would be much clearer. Razer Phone team reduced dramatically. So they can't simultaneously work on different models. So priority has got RP2. After comes RP1's turn.
Razer should not have entered in mobile market. Or they have to do dramatic changes or they will close that section in near future

None of that matters to me as a customer. I bought the thing from Three (the only people in the UK stocking it) and pretty much from the moment it came out of the box it's been a massive disappointment.

One that I'm stuck with for two years.

If they can't turn around a firmware update for their device in a year, they've no business doing it at all - speaking as a Software Engineer I know the troubles you can have in both the update and the release process... but absolutely nothing excuses it being *this* delayed, even with a reduced team.

I can understand your frustration because I'm in the same boat. But it will be a very good lesson for the future: no more razor phone! I had enough myself from it. How bugy is WiFi connection on my phone and 4g generally. When my contract finish will move back to previous brand. They are loosing customers and can't do anything about it. Only loyal fans staying with them, even if you give to them Nokia 3340 with Razer logo instead.
