Only my guessing, but on Razer Charging Pad Chroma product page, there's an image of some "suspicious" (unreleased?) phone, because it doesn't looks like a RP1 or RP2.

Well no more phone division surely kill any rumors.
However my RP2 is arriving near it's end and finding an upgraded phone with same minimalist features but aimed at gamers is difficult.
I'm looking prices on ebay for another RP2, but no new handsets or irresponsible prices.
Will be looking at the sony's phone release tomorrow or maybe samsung S21 FE....

I think they have said more than a few times that they have exited the mobile handset business when reporting to their investors.

from what I heart, Razer already forgoes all the smartphone production lines. Although it is better if they could make Razer Phone 3 at a competitive price range. I need to swap a new phone now but I don't want to buy ROG 5.

Yeah and ROG V with the fan doesn't make it waterproof..

Xperia 1 III and Xperia 5 III are what you should keep your eye on. Game changing stuff going on in the market right now from Sony. If you want a dedicated gaming phone, the Rog is cool but the Lenovo Legion duo look even better.

The worst part of all the gaming phones on the market is the horrible software and the support for said software.
I know Razer weren't great on the software side of things but they had a solid team of people that listened and wanted the software to be as "stock" and clean as possible something the other companies don't seem to want.
Such a shame.

I am 100% on board the Sony Xperia train. They have the game deck feature that allows you to tweak the game and system in all lkinds of ways to fit your gaming needs. They even have a new streaming feature similar to the PS4 (and PS5) where it's always recording clips so you can capture gameplay and stream it if you want. The charging feature is also pretty killer, it won't tax the battery and gives you full power when you're plugged in as well. It's definitely worth checking out the Xperia 1 III and Xperia 5 III - Sadly no pre-order available yet. They are supposed to come out in about a month or two (they said around summer)
My RP2 is just about two years old. The volume in the speakers was very low, so I had to remove the grills and clean them. The sad thing is, they sound as great as they did when I first bought them, I remember how happy I was when I got the thing. I really have enjoyed this phone more than any phone I have ever had. It's sleek, unique and people always ask me about it when they see the back glowing. I usually want the latest and greatest but I refuse to upgrade this phone until it refuses to work.... OR until razer makes a new one... eh? please?
