I have the previous model (blue lighting,) and don't know if much is different with the newer ones. (green lighting)

My only gripe with them is the extremely short cord. (3 feet or so?) As they are made for "mobile" I can't really argue too much as they clearly weren't directed towards desktops.

The overall quality is good with the build, sturdy little things. Dropped probably a dozen or more times trying to get them not to fall off my desk because of the cords. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

No arguments over sound quality. They can under-perform in some instances, but overall are fine. I noticed when the USB is unplugged (discharging) the sound quality drops.

This was my not-so-professional review of them a couple weeks back:
I don't know about the rest of you, but I absolutely love my Ferox. Before I bought it, I read some reviews online and all anyone had to say was that there was no bass enhancement. I don't know where they got the idea that that's what the speakers were for. Nowhere does it say that it has a bass boost, only an improved bass response. The point is for mobility, and I think that it is perfect in that aspect. The sound quality is amazing, and I have no regrets. My only complaint is the Shipping & Handling which was 20 bucks lol. Also, Y U NO CHROMA. It's fine that they're green but while they're making all the chroma stuff I feel like they should have made them chroma too.
    10/10 Sound
    10/10 Overall Look
    9/10 Cost
9/10 Organization (The length of the cable is a bit too short, causing me to sometimes be forced to place it in weird ways.)
    10/10 Mobility

I have the new Ferox and been using is for around 9 months i think. Honestly, the sound quality I will rate is slightly below average where for the price of this you can get a quite decent speaker. There is a lot review said that the cord is too short, but somehow I have no problem with the length. The outstanding part of Ferox will be mobility, this thing is really small and powerful as there advertise (YES! They are loud!). It also came with a carrying case which is quite convenience. One more part of Ferox that I like is the button to switch on the Ferox, I always enjoy to see it float up slowly! :p:p:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

My personal opinion. If you going to use it for mobility, this is the perfect fit. If you going to just set it up with your pc, go for something else such like Leviathan! :D:D:D

I have a pair of them, and the sound quality is pretty good for the mobility. They certainly are portable, and are definitely loud for their size.

Ferox is meant for mobility, sound is definitely an upgrade from your laptop/smartphone speakers.

A guy I was friends with decided to give his to mine but shortly after he decided to take them back because we had a falling out which is sad but oh well. Some people are just selfish.

Anyway, they are good but the cable can too short depending on what desk you have and the quality isn't as good as the speakers inside are (at least that's how it sounded) because the sound relies on coming off the cone under the lid and all around so the cone kind of spoils it a tiny bit. Other than that they are pretty good. They would be a lot better than smart phone and computer speakers so that's good.

FYI: not that it matters or anything but for those who are curious he gave the Ferox to me because I was moving out of the country.

I have them in case I have visitors which want to hear sound as well.

They sound suprisingly good, and the battery lasts long as well.

And well, I don't think I have to say how awesome the design looks.

I have the original Ferox's and love them. I have had them since the initial release and they are still working like day one, and the battery life is pretty good.

I have the green version and it's nice to go to the beach and stuff like that because they are louder that the smartphone speakers. But if you want something really loud you should buy something else
