And if so: is it good and would it be good for a school backpack?

Technically I have four (Tactical Pro, Tactical, Team Tournament Edition, Rogue) different Razer backpacks, though my son uses one for school (Rogue) and my husband uses one for work. (Tactical Backpack)

I find them all to be very durable and excellent for their purposes, but the Razer Rogue Backpack is the only one that seems suitable for work, play and school if you still want a medium sized bag and not something larger. My favorite of all of them is my Tactical Pro Backpack, but it's probably also the biggest bag that Razer makes. Though, it also really depends on what size laptop you travel with. The Tactical Pro is the only one that can fit my MSI GT70 17.3" laptop - my husband has no issues fitting his much smaller 14" HP into the Tactical for work. My son doesn't use a laptop for school (8th grade) and is able to fit all of his books/notebooks/binders into the Rogue with ease and it's very comfortable for him to carry.

If you do some searches there are reviews and comparisons of many backpacks here on the forums. :)

    Hey,
I use the Razer Rogue Backpack as a "school" backpack.
I can definitely recomend it, cause it is lightweight, durable and has enough space for a laptop/ultrabook + paper + books + folder ... basically everything you need for studying ;)
    ( And I love the design :) )

    Hey DictatorShadow,

I use the Razer Mercenary backpack for work/travel and it is great. The main compartment has plenty of room for books/binders/ and laptop also if its a smaller 10-14inch screen laptop/ultra book it has a special cut out in the back of the main compartment for it. has 2 front pockets and 2 side pockets. has plenty of space to hold chargers/phones/accessories.

I use the shoulder messenger-satchel/bag daily.
Sadly I don't take my laptop with me, since I'm ttoo scared xD

But I do have a lot of my drawing items in it.
And I find it really great for my needs.

My Fiancé uses the Tactical Pro every day for his studies.

    Hey there,

I use the Rogue backpack and I can say that it's a quality well-made backpack with a lot of things in mind when it comes to storage - I would recommend it.

The only downside is that because it has a lot of storage, there are a large number of zippers which can be quite noisy if you were to use it whilst doing something that constantly shakes or moves it quickly.

I have the Tactical Bag and think it works great for weekend trips. I can easily fit a few changes of clothes, laptop, ipad and some small extras in and have everything easily accessible.

I use mine daily. I used to haul my gear in a regular backpack with just 2 compartments, it was sloppy. With the Razer Tactical, it has tons of compartments which is great because I carry the following:

    -Razer Blade Stealth
    -Kraken Chroma V2 Headset
    -Deathadder Chroma Mouse
    -Sphex V2 Mouse Pad
    -45 Watt Adapter
    -Usb Powered Fan/Cooling Pad Thingee
    -Screen Cleaning Kit

TL;DR = its awesome, and it works great. a little heavy tho, but ... meh

I have a lot of things I want to buy (Computer accessories) before I decide to pick up Razer gear, but hopefully I'll get some in the future. :)

  11. i have the 17.3 tactical bag, i use it for then i travel to and from work (offshore supply vessel) would say its pretty good for school as what i used it for first, but it cant really take a beating, more stitching has ripped open on it so far. but its probrably not made for heavy use :D

FYI.. The Razer Tactical Pro bag can not carry all 17" laptops. My MSI GT72 Dominator does fit in the bag and I can lock down the flap but I can not fully close the zippers on the side. I can get the up about $/5 of the way and that's it. That said I still use and love my RAZER bag. If it did not have the flap that can be secured then it would be a problem. So keep in mind that even though it is for 17" laptops its possible you may not be able to fully close the bag if you have one of the larger 17" laptops like me.

I have the Rogue- Very nice and convenient. Use it for my Blade stealth on-the-go.

Also have the Razer messenger bag. basic but nice, and just toggle between the two of them. They are both very durable. kudos to Razer on the material.

The only one that I have because of the prices is the messenger bag, which I got for free when I purchased my BW Chroma Stealth 2 years ago. I don’t use it for school, but I do use it for travel. Lots of space and it is extremely durable.

Hahaha! 2 years and still has the tag on it! Love it!

I finally got my Tactical Pro Backpack, and just ordered 2 more molle pouches from Mobile Edge. Using it for work as soon as my son is done being sick (had to take Friday-Monday **I'm in Australia** off), and it sure does hold a lot. With the sturdiness of the compartments inside, it doesn't SEEM as spacious as my previous backpack, but I think as the materials soften over time, that will change. In the meantime, it helps me keep the load to a minimum, and my back is going to thank me for it.

The velcro and straps on the outside also give a lot of customization options, for patches, more pouches, etc. I mentioned this in another thread, but I'm going to mod a few of my mouse pouches with velcro/canvas and turn them into molle units to stick to the outside, and free up the other pouches.

I think the Tactical backpack has a bunch of the velcro and straps, too, so if this type of thing appeals to you, go with the Tactical or Tactical Pro. Just maybe don't keep your mice on the outside of your pack if you're using it for school.

When will Razer make a duffel? I'm still waiting for the duffel.

I miss my Razer Utility Backpack :slightly_sad: It served me well during my 3 years in college and before it met its end on a trip in Thailand (✖╭╮✖)

I did however replace it with the Razer Rogue Backpack, while it does not carry as many item as the backpack before it, you can't help but swoon over how great it looks :)
