Hello trying to get nommo and leviathan to work together at the same time. Tried using a 2-1 3.5mm did not work. Tried using the recording realtek trick where it listens to one and plays out the other did not work either wondering if anyone got these two to work at the same time thanks.

Interesting, I got a leviathan to work with a pair of mid range logitech speakers through a 3.5mm splitter, I do it through a monitor or an external audio source to the laptop however. It should work just fine so long as they're both set to use AUX as the output?

Yeah but I have Nommo plugged into usb for the chroma lights to work. Not sure gonna look for a program maybe to run two at once.

oh right okay so you're using the USB for audio. There should be some sort of program which can tell your PC to output through multiple audio sources at once although I haven't personally experimented and it might not be perfectly in sync. So you can't just use the USB for chroma and tell it to use the jack?

Yeah I work next couple full days so won’t have time till then to fiddle with it. Have couple ideas. Gonna try plugging usb Nommo into my monitor to power chroma and I ordered a 3.5mm dual stereo splitter to hook up sound bar and Nommo to the pc and see if that works. Trial and error found a program vb cable that may work also. Will keep everyone up to date as I figure this out.

Wish there was a optical in to usb and optical or 3.5mm kit converter box

If the above don’t work gonna try chevolume software and see how that works.

Not exactly. Like a optical cable to the pc from the box then on other side of box have 3.5mm and a female usb to plug in both Nommo and sound bar
I did a quick test last night and got it to work but not like I want it to. I used a 3.5mm splitter on back of pc and plugged in both Nommo and sound bar and both worked BUT. Can’t change Nommo chroma and only has rainbow way and it defaults to stock settings so no extra bass boost or anything. So need to figure out how to adjust that stuff yet. I tried voicemeeter and it didn’t work well so much static. Tried audio router and it would not let me duplicate the two speakers because the Nommo is a stereo and the sound bar is a 5.1 so cant duplicate those two with that program. Well do some more Messi g around when I’m off tomorrow.

hmmm never seen that kind of device before. maybe one day when there's demand somebody will develop something like that. TIME TO TRADE IN MY LEVIATHAN FOR NOMMOS THEN? hahahaha, or maybe to wait for leviathan chroma hmm

Not yet unless you get the Nommo Pro with sub. You could also use the Razer hdk led chroma strips like I did and put under the sound bar

The Nommo sounds better then the Leviathan but can’t stand with leviathan bass from the sub. If you must have bass then Nommo would not be good. But Nommo sounds much better and surround works much better then Razers bar. Now after having these both seriously thinking bout going with Nommo Pro. I bet it sounds amazing.

my sub is hidden under my table hahaha, so maybe the bass is not that strong. i do agree the 5.1 doesnt really sound that great though hahaha.

Well I tried all kinds of stuff and cant get it to work with chroma settings and eq settings saved while using 3.5mm splitter. So I may sell them and save up for the nommo pro or try logitechs new lighted 2.1 speaker set that looks like Philips hue blooms and lights up the whole wall only $200 Not sure yet

  13. Last night I maneged to add a subwoofer to the nommo chroma and still have a place for a center speaker. All you need to do is bypass the internal DAC which is really so bad in my opnion not even 24bit and maybe that's why you don't read a word about it, by using external DAC or sound card and use its EQ, use the USB only to power the chroma light.

btw I can take some pics even post a youtube vid to show how to get it done when I get back home.

Cool glad you got it to work. I bought Logitech new g560. Which is really cool has Philips hue bloom style lights on the speakers and colors matches what shown on the screen. And sound better then the Nommo. I style have the Nommo hooked up and use from time to time.

  15. I just googled the g560 i like the spec and they way it looks ^^

The sound is Night and day difference. G560 sounds much better and louder and subwoofer is huge. This is probably like the Nommo Pro. But Pro is $500 plus the price of two Philips hue blooms $120. This is $200 and really impressed and I’m a Razer fanboy. But hey they can’t have the best in everything.
