Anything coming that's as nice as Cooler Master's new lineup?

So Cooler Master has jumped on the bandwagon with the rest of the high-end keyboard manufacturers.

Their new boards for 2019 (SK630/631, SK650/651, MK730/731, MK750/751) all have light bars / underglow AND removable USB Type-C cables. The xx1 models have bluetooth as well.

This follows trends set by Varmillo, Ducky, Vortex, Massdrop, etc.. When will Razer be joining the rest of the pack?

They don't look very impressive, the SKs don't have wristrests and the MKs wristrests doesn't light up. Also none have passthroughs, and they don't have a volume knob. Detachable cable is nice but something most people never use. Looks like they tried to copy Razer but couldn't.

I dont quite get why this topic is here in armory forum and not in off-topic ?

Opinion. Not everyone cares about wrist-rests. Not everyone cares about pass-through ports or volume knobs.

I prefer a more minimal design like the BWX or standard Huntsman. Also, when a wrist rest takes up a USB port just for its own lighting (looking at you Huntsman Elite) I consider that a huge waste of a USB port.

Any "gamer" that cares about latency will want to connect their mouse directly to a USB port on the motherboard rather than adding any discernible latency by running the mouse through an extension cable.

I don't see how they were trying to copy Razer... There were keyboards with underglow / mid-body light diffusers and removable cables before any of Razer's boards that have those features.

It's in this sub-forum because it's a question about keyboards / hardware that Razer may or may not be releasing...

Yes but it's for razer devices 😛 Just cheack this subforum on this topic i dont see anything that is razer keybord.
I agree. I check out new boards every few weeks to see what the industry is doing and what new trends are coming about. I really like what I see Roccat doing and their offerings seem solid. I was surprised to see Cooler Master join in with their offerings and with all these "good" options from other vendors Razer doesn't stand out anymore.

I recently picked up a BW Chroma TE V2. And I bought it knowing it wasn't the best option, just can't help being a Razer fan boy. It has a detachable cable, but it's like, Micro USB on one and instead of USB-C! I wanted a compact layout with wrist rest so good there, but yeah. I agree with the OP, when is Razer going to really step up? The sparkle of the Huntsman Elite is fading...
Actually the BW Chrome TE V2 is using an even older connection than Micro-USB. The connector on it is a Mini-USB. Roccat's Vulcan 120 with its custom Titan switch is pretty cool. Closest switch I can compare it to in Razer's lineup is the Razer Orange. They're all Cherry MX clones though in the end.
