    Hey Everyone,

Not sure I'm posting this in the right place, But I just wanted to get everyone's thoughts on this.

The spec's seem very similar to the Razer Phone and the accessories seem pretty cool. Do you think Razer should consider a desk dock as well as Project Linda? I personally own a Samsung GS8+ and the Samsung Dex but was gonna wait until Razer Phone 2 releases before I get my next phone. Need the portability of a laptop, so Project Linda would be ideal. Or I may just stick with the GS8+ and get that Mirabook.

Really hoping that Project Linda or the new Razer Phone comes with an additional accessory for Desktop connectivity.

That’s really phone for gamers that couldn’t be used in formal situations, and that 4000mA battery I doubt will hold long considering the hardware (
Rgb, Amoled Screen), but kind nice. Razer is pretty slow in development for Razer Phone gears, as well the software update but I think it’ll come something, Project Linda is just too step forward they should brought also some other things like pheriperals on CES 2018 last January and keep the competition with those new gears for maximizing user experience even on older hardware.

design wise.... nah, I like more simple design like razer phone.... the screen also only get to 90hz, and they actualy have the external cooler.....

and I agree with @Joikansai that razer is slow in development.... maybe razer is waiting the right time to bash all of this gaming phone.....

But Asus is the one with better and easier after sales support. Service centers are available everywhere and its easy to just walk in drop your receipt and the defective products instead of going to some website and posting here for help...

We are nearing end of Q2 with no announcement for Project Linda production which means a Q3 and Q4 release is impossible. There might be a annual refresh of the razer phone in Q4 but if there isn't one, then that means that the razer phone might be abandoned, like my poor Razer leviathan... I am still waiting for that software update for an always on feature, its been 3 years razer.... 3 long years......

It seems like ASUS is putting quite a bit out there this year besides just a new phone. Network availability and other parts of the phone like camera will determine if this will be just a niche gamer phone or something that can become a practical DD.

I'm just curious what do you mean by always on? My Leviathan never shuts off no mater how long it sits at idle.
