Basilisk click-dragging broken in Windows

I use this mouse for work as well as gaming, and whenever I'm trying to move windows around, this mouse randomly selects other stuff on the screen behind the window I'm moving, routinely interrupts me when I am trying to select text to copy in documents, meaning i will drag the cursor to select the text and it will stop halfway and start exhibiting weird random behavior like the aforementioned focus loss and just register clicks that are not happening.

I have 2 logitech mice and one razer mouse. The razer is the only one that does this and it has done this for months now, which I hoped would be alleviated by a fresh install of Windows 10, but even that did not help anything.

I have grown so annoyed with this that I will be seeking a replacement if it cannot be fixed, as I am wasting time while I should be completing work trying to wrestle with this mouse's issues. For what is the most expensive mouse I have ever bought, and my first Razer product.. this is massively disappointing.

Hi there! when did this issue start? Have you tried using it with another PC to see if the same issue persists? If you can, please send us a short clip of the issue.
Hi! Sorry for the late reply, I've been away on business for the past couple weeks. I was able to test this on a different windows 10 machine without razer synapse installed, and a windows 7 machine with synapse on it, and the problem persists on all machines. Plugging in my old mouse yielded no such issues.

I will record a video of the issue ASAP, but to summarize what I've discovered, it appears to be an issue with the left mouse button switch, and it taking excessive pressure to keep held down. This varies depending on where on the mouse button I am holding it down. If I press near the tip of the mouse button and hold, the issue does not occur. I naturally use a "claw" grip on the mouse though, and hold the button down near the middle/middle-left, and this is what is causing inconsistent results when click-hold-dragging (windows, scroll bars, resizing, selecting text, etc). not only is there an issue with click-hold-dragging, but there are also double-clicks being registered. The issue has been happening since September 2018 at least, and I had reformatted my PC in November with the hopes that this would alleviate the issue, but it has not.

I will record a screen cap of what I am referring to, however it is exactly as I describe above, and I think I have pinpointed a specific problem area on the left button/mechanical switch. I have been using this mouse for work and commonly have so select and copy passages of text, which has been a hair-pulling experience with how inconsistent this mouse has been in regards to that left button. Right button has no such issues.
