Hi, Just bought a Basilisk essential but i cant get it to work with synapse 3. I have tried all possible method i can find on the internet such as:

1. reinstall synapse 3
2. delete basilisk driver from device manager.
3. restarted pc after done 1 and 2.
4. tried plugging into 5 different USB ports

However, i noticed that when plugging into new USB port, there is 1 driver that failed to install, "Razer control device" failed to install. i have tried searching manually for this device, but i am not able to find any solution to this.

Is there anyone that encountered such problem and manage to fix it ? Please advise. Thank you.

Try first to uninstall every razer softwere you have on your pc then go to programfiles and appdata folders remove files that stay next thing go to device menager and remove the mouse id it's on the list unplug it and reboot pc when windows boot connect mouse and wait to driver install download new razer synapse 3 installer and make sure you have all windows updates installed before you install it.
