Basilisk is uncomfortable to hold or click?

I got a deathadder first- as we all do, I guess- and the mouse worked well.

The deathadder always hurt my wrist however. I don't know if anyone else had this trouble but after long hours of use it seemed to hurt a bit.

But the deathadder was fairly ergonomic.

I use a blackwidow keyboard which is the best thing ever.

I switched off of the deathadder a while ago to the G502 which is also an excellent mouse, but once I tried the basilisk in a store I thought it was the most comfortable and amazing mouse ever.

But it's seemed to have some ergo issues with me since I've gotten it.

I don't know if it's the general way I grip my mouse or the positioning of my keyboard & laptop or something. But basically the mouse seems to list to the right very easily. That doesn't mean using the mouse makes it tilt and lift off of the mousepad, but I think it feels really awkward to use and click sometimes because of significantly reduced pressure on the left side of the mouse because of clockwise torque. I guess I might be tending to press my hand weight to the right side.

Does anyone know if I'm just.. I dunno, gripping the mouse stupidly or something? is there a grip I should just pick up?

I feel like the clutch shift has lots of potential and it's more ergonomic than the poorly designed clutch DPI on the G502, but I'm having an awkward time gripping the mouse in a way where it can be easy to click. I think I often tend to hold my hand in the back part of the mouse so the clutch is out of reach from my thumb. Is there a good grip that also puts the clutch in reach because I tend to rotate the mouse real hard if I want to. Thanks.

Hm, I have Basilisk too, but didn't experience anything similar. Maybe you have just to get used to that mouse.
My fingers are somehow smaller than average and I have no problem in reaching clutch anytime. Did you try putting other clutch that comes with the mouse?

Yes I'm using the longer one actually.

I mean I can reach the clutch but I assume the purpose is that you can clutch any time you want without difficulty, for instance while aiming in an FPS. So I assume my thumb is supposed to nearly be resting on it?

I don't know how should one hold the Basilisk, but I can tell you from my experience: when playing the games or just when holding the mouse, my thumb is not fully stretched - it's slightly bent so it' is somewhat in the near of the clutch. And when I need to press the clutch, I just extend the thumb. Similar when I want to reach numbers or F1 - F12 keys: I have to extend my fingers in order to reach them.
