I had to replace my original Basilisk Ultimate due to some water damage. I bought a new one including a new dock. I plugged in the new equipment to began charging it to full for use and since then the mouse in synapse. The colors change to show the charging percentage like normal but the battery just drains. So it is a sitting on the pins as it should. I tried to clean the pins on both, the old dock, changed the usb ports, cleaned my usb ports, a few restarts, firmware updated, made sure the mouse was turned off, and tried to plug it in directly.
My old one never had this issue so I'm wondering if it's the new mouse or if there is a solution? I can return to my local best buy if need be.

You can return it if need be. But let's first try to this issue. Since you have almost done every step from this page, let us try reinstalling your mouse driver by following this guide. Should the problem persists, PM me the serial number of your mouse. With the help of it, I can verify its model and look for other possible solutions.
