I personally wasn't impressed with the entire reveal. Not a fan of it being historically inaccurate or the lack of actual gameplay in the trailer.

Would like to know others opinions too.

They sadly went too SJW it looks like so far. Most of their audience wants realism so they'll gain 10 fans and lose millions. 168K thumbs up and 134K thumbs down right now on the official trailer, that's not good. The laying on back feature looks cool though.

The trailer is frankly garbage. Whoever decided that was the best way to reveal the game to the public needs firing...but you should check out some of the u tubers vids before making a decision (they got a different reveal to us lot). I'm by no means a fan of them, especially after they were pretty much bribed to say nice things about BF1 (or was that BF4), but they give you a much deeper insight into the game mechanics. After watching the trailer I was less than impressed. My immediate impression was that it's going to be a re-skin of BF1 but I'm actually quite interested in it now after checking out the u tube reviews. I'll still not pre-order until I've at least seen some MP game play and even then probably not until I've played the open beta but if it plays ok I can definitely see me buying it.

Rule number one buying games,...never pre order that;)
Yes if you want to play on 4K 144Hz on that new $2K HDR Monitor;)

Yea a lot of people including myself feel the same way. Initially it reminded me of a fortnite trailer instead of a battlefield trailer which really turned me off with its cartoonist feel. The sjw feel again really turned me off as previously all battlefield games had some historical accuracy in them. Giving ww2 the sjw makeover to me is really disturbing.

Spot on with the analysis. The only saving grace would be the laying off of disliked features along with adding a decent amount of new mechanics. I'm reserving final judgement for final release but the first impressions are not good and most people agree as the current like and dislike counts for the trailer are 285k likes and 342k dislikes. Which is a disaster compared to the ratios for battlefield 1.
