I have a 2019 Razerblade 15 advanced 144hz 1080 laptop. I just bought a dell2721dgf monitor with 165hz and 1440 reso. What is the best display cable for this? I can't find any mini dp to dp for 2k @ 165hz.
Do I get thunderbolt 3(usb-c) to dp?
or
thunderbolt 3(usb-c) to a dp adapter?

I dont think there is that much of a differenz my monitor works well with a adapter and i used it with a normal cable that worked well too. You just have to see if it the right version for it. Dp mini 2.0 is the newest and should work fine. I have 1080p 240hz and it works well for me.

i would suggested u get the thunderbolt 3 to dp. you can get more accuracy and refresh rate.
