I have the Deathadder Chroma mouse and I love it to death! The mouse mat I currently have is my hand width. So tiny. At least compared to what it could/probably should be. I need to get a new mat eventually, and of course, I want Razer's mats! Now, what mat would be best for the Deathadder Chroma? I mean, aside from the size, the generic mouse mat I have hasn't given me any issues.

Just a quick note, you should also take into account which mouse mat is for you.
    Hard/soft/hybrid etc.

Most generic mouse mats have a diagonal weave pattern. Razer's mouse mats have a diamond weave pattern.
Diagonal weaves create different amounts of resistance depending on which direction you swipe.

Depends what do you prefer. Personally I recomend Goliathus. I'm using Large Controll version, and my mouse flows quite easly, it's perfect for me. I have tried using Firefly, and it's kinda smooth. Mouse flows very fast, Deathadder works amzingly good on it. But overall I would recomend Goliathus ;)

I would recommend any Razer Mat. I brought a non-Razer mat for my Deathadder before and it kept having tracking issues, and it was very jumpy. I have used the Golothus Speed before and it works good, But if you want some Chroma Lighting I'm using the Firefly Hard Edition and it is working good too. Depends on your price range.

I cannot imagine going back to a regular mat after trying the Firefly, the mouse moves so smooth over it. Maybe you have to try it to appreciate it...

The weave is not something I have ever thought about before, so thanks for that!
Usually I like a soft mat, but with my set up being in the corner of a corner desk, I wonder if a hard mat would be better, maybe it can go slightly off an edge and still be usable.
The Goliathus is one that I have been leaning towards, but of course I like having everything with the chroma lighting, so I'm wanting the Firefly :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye_:
Hmm, mine hasn't had any tracking issues, thank God for that! It's still small though. I'd love the chroma lighting, but the Goliathus seems good too.
Haha, you're making me REEEEALLLLY want the Firefly!!

Firefly is ok, but I can't stand cable coming out from...mousepad. And it's quite small comparing to Goliathus Large ;)

I got the firefly for christmas and at first I was worried about having a hard mousepad. It took me a little bit of time to get used to but now I love it. Best mousepad I've ever had by far. It works really really well and I definitely recommend it

Yeah, that cable would really be the only thing I wouldn't like too much. I like the chroma, but a cable for a mouse mat seems silly :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
I can see it taking a while to get use to. I actually just remembered I used to have a hard mouse mat a long time ago with a gel wrist rest. Being a young child, (and even now as an adult...) I liked to poke at it and pick at it and squish it and such and ended up ripping the surface open  It always had a piece of tape on it after that, making it uncomfortable, lol.
But at the time, all I had was a hard mouse mat.
