I bought a Razer Blackwidow Chroma not too long ago and I love it, but I definitely don't want it getting too dirty. I clean the exterior with a cloth, but I need advice for cleaning the inside of the keyboard.

What is the best mechanical keyboard cleaning kit you know of or own? Thanks in advanced, i'm a total noob with mechanical keyboards.

What kind of cleaning are you talking about? cleaning the exterior? cleaning the dust and crumbs underneath the keys? For my external i just use water and a cloth, or some simple cleaning agent, for the internal, a trusty compressed air can always does the trick of removing things under the keys :)

Sorry, yes I meant the inside of the keyboard. Do you ever take off the keycaps to clean under them?

As long as you don't spill anything inside your keyboard then can of air is your best friend

Ill sometimes take of fthey key caps if its really dirty. if its just dust, you can just take it outside and turn it upside down and use air on it, and most of the dust comes out. if there are biggish size crumbs in there, then you usually need to take off the key caps because those dont always come out as easily.

How do I clean my Razer BlackWidow Chroma?
If you wish to clean under the key caps, Razer suggests holding the unit upside down and/or using compressed air from a can. We do not recommend removing the keycaps from your mechanical switches. The overall finish can be cleaned with wipes generally used for cleaning your computer monitor or sunglasses. Please ensure that the surface is free of large dust particles or debris before wiping the surface with any product. Wiping debris into the surface can lead to minor scratches on the surface of the unit. We suggest unplugging the device from your computer before cleaning. IMPORTANT NOTE: Under no circumstances should you ever submerge the keyboard in any type of liquid. Submerging the keyboard in any liquid will void the warranty on your keyboard.
  7. A lot of compressed air or a vacuum over top the keys should do the trick.

A key puller for the keys and some dusting would do. The cleaning is up to you, (cloth, duster, vacuum, toothbrush, many more) Many online guides to how to clean your keyboard too. You could get the razer mechanical enhancement kit and try out the o-rings aswell.
