So I've been stuck in Silver for such a long time, and I feel for the most part it's because I either play someone very tanky who seems to have no impact in the game besides being a meat shield needing to rely on others, or I'm playing a miserably squishy ADC who constantly gets locked on to. I feel splitpushing would/could be a good way to climb elo without really needing to do very much work. So, who are the best splitpushers this season?

Nasus is the first champ that comes to mind, he does very well off of just staying and pushing his lane, and farming stacks. Gnar, specifically Mega Gnar, is very good at pushing a turret on his own, but you have to be very map aware and good at controlling his rage stacks. I would suggest Nasus if your looking for something easier.

From what it seems to be the meta yes gnar will be a good choice, he has the boomerang for range poke and the jump for the escape and he is rather good at team fights. Ornn is another good one i think, he can be inpactfull in the game and has some good combos. Trundle is very good especially with a hydra and his bite. But that's all for top lane, you can't split push with an adc easily, I manage with tristana after 3 items at least but if i get a 2v1 i am dead. Veigar is a good choice for mid, even more now with the boost on the mana items, and so is Kassadin I believe.

Check the meta most often is the best way to have a good game or find what you are good at and just play that even if its out of meta. Try to have vision or to have something for your escape. And check some competitive games to see what they use and if you can use it.

Good luck at the climbing and have fun most of all.

Thank you both! This is all helpful information, I think I'll try Nasus out for a bit since he can get pretty tanky as well as splitpush well with stacks, I'll probably move on to Gnar after I get the splitpushing and being more aware of my surroundings down.

If you going to play split pushing, then your teammate need to be very good and able to hold enemy in 4 v 4 or 4 v 5 condition, if not you cant win the game even you pushed successfully

It depends on the condition. If your team can handle and defense with 4v5 you can split push.
If your team looks like they are gonna engage in a clash you need to go back.

actually it can depend on many things. I have split pushed with trist after 2 items in silver cause most people care to fight or get what they want instead of seeing what needs to be done and managed to get a ton of towers and pushing done with telling my team to give me time to do all that and if you get 3 to 4 items you can 1v1 the enemy adc and squishy targets if you engage them first when they come.
