  1. They're out of stock in the US too, so I wouldn't be too hopeful in getting it anytime soon. Their store said shipping 7/22 for us but it just got pushed another week..

Well then... It's a pity the Microsoft store in Singapore doesn't carry razed products....

Guess I just have to wait.... On a side note... Is it worth upgrading to the 950 pro ssd? That's one thing I'm considering

I think this is beautiful!!! I would pay for an empty case to hang on my wall, in addition to the laptop...

Are you talking about Samsung 950 pro ssd? That one is a SATA form factor. The storage in New Razer Blade is M.2 which uses PCIE. It looks like the PCIE is 3 times faster than SATA based on the product page.

I ordered mine when the store page said shipping 7/22. It did get pushed back and there was an issue with the label, but mine's on its way, scheduled to arrive tomorrow.

The 950 PRO comes in an m.2 PCIE connector. I have one in my skull canyon NUC.

Use the company USgobuy. I have used them and they are reliable. You can choose to include/exclude the original invoice and declare your own value.

You're totally right. I was thinking of the 850 when I posted. I randomly assumed Razer already used the 950 PRO since it's (as you said) a PCIE M.2 ssd and Samsung is one of the most reliable brands of ssd.

I'm not sure what brand Razer uses, but I feel like the one that comes with it is quite fast, and does not need an "upgrade."

How much does the chrome eat the battery is the real question

It lasts 5 hours on youtube using chrome for me. And thats 20 pages at a time.

It seems the longer you use it and break it in correctly, the better the battery gets. It went from 3.5h to 5h just by charging and discharging at the right times.

Seems funny because most rechargeable batteries degrade with time.

When did you order yours? I ordered the 256gb one on 7/8 and still nothing..

Ah. I ordered the 500gb one on 7/12 and received 7/29. I have a feeling the 500gb were shipped to razer early July and just running quality control for the next few weeks before shipping out. It's better for company and consumer for that last minute tests. I'd rather wait an extra week than need to RMA it again right away (definitely takes longer than 2 weeks).

Would you be so kind as to outline this "breaking in" process? I really want to get the most out of this beauty! Don't want to overcharge it or break the battery, etc.

    Thanks in advance!

Only keep it pluged in if you are using it for heavy tasks like gaming and such. If it is just youtube, unplug it and take it around. When it dies like 50% or more you can recharge it. Never leave it on the charger overnight. And make sure to deplete the battery fully like once a month.

Somehow just got an estimate of 7 hours left while watching youtube at 70% battery. Dont know if it miscalculated or if it is true.

I didn't see any options in the Synaptics touchpad settings to change the force to activate a tap-to-click.

My problem when typing is that I hit the touchpad with my palm which ends up clicking somewhere and highlighting a row, which gets deleted as I type over it. I have Palmcheck set to max, but it's still happening (and started happening over the last few days).

I guess I could turn off tap-to-click, but I'm really enjoying it because my left and right mouse buttons are pretty stiff.

Did I over look the force to tap-to-click?

There is a new one with 1060 coming. Great, I am going through the preorder process again. only this time I can be more patient. (I cancel the old order the day Pascal is announced)
