Does anyone know if the following colour effect could be achieved on a Black Widow Chroma?:

A key has a static colour (e.g. white). If you press that key, the colour changes (e.g. to red). If you press it again, it changes back (e.g. white again). And so on.

I'd like to use such a pattern on my macro keys, to see wehter they are active or not.

You can have different Profiles. You can set each of those different Profiles to be a different color.

Then, simply set your macro keys to switch profiles!

Thanks for the answer. But the problem ist that i have an underlying macro (e.g. repeatingly pressing e), and i can't assign this to the macro key (e.g M3) if it's already programmed to change the colour-profile.

As far as I can tell, there is no way to have a color change aside from what the post above said, but that's not what I assume you are talking about. If you are talking about a chroma pattern that you can set to change through a color cycle with every click and it just rotates through pre-set colors, then sadly that doesn't exist. It is very possible but it would have to be in the future when Razer is being creative. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I don't really want to change the colour pattern of the whole keyboard with the click on the macro key.

I only would like to see if the macro key is currently active or not. For example, if the macro Key is not active, the whole keyboard is white. If i press the macro key (M3), a macro gets activated (a macro which repeatingly presses e) and the macro key turns to red, the rest of the keyboard stays white. If i press the Macro key again, the macro stops and the Macro key turns white again.

The method from lafar works fine to change the colour of the macro key, but the macro i actually wanted to activate is no longer assigned to the key...

you can change the color of a key that also has another macro assigned to it. Check out the video with a tutorial,

I am using this on (hides in embarrassment) clicker heroes, where I have assigned a repeating left click macro to M1 and it changes color to red when I activate the macro then back to green when I deactivate the macro.

    good luck :)

Here's a question... Can you have a key change a *different* key's colors? Example use: in EVE Online, you have modules in "highs", "mids", and "lows". The highs are activated with the function keys (F1-F8); the mids are (by default) triggered with a combination of Ctrl and function key, and lows are triggered with a Shift combo (or something like that). I'm wondering if I can set up the function keys to change color when Ctrl or Shift is pressed (because I can never remember which modifier key enables which row!)
