Blackwidow chroma keys fading.

Hello,
I have had my blackwidow chroma keyboard for a long time now and im looking to replace the keys but i dont know what kind i should get.
Are the ''upgrade'' keycaps you can buy off the webshop any better then the keycaps that came with the keyboard? because to be honest they were really crappy quality for gaming, they started fading after 6 months.
If anyone had any experience with better keycaps you would really help me out as i dont want to completly replace my keyboard because it still works so good.
