I've just bought a Blackwidow Elite keyboard and have notice an issue with it, but it's difficult to explain for me. I'll try.
When I am in Windows Notepad, I usually use to press (really fast) the sequence of keys: Alt, cursor down, cursor up, enter, enter (to: cast the "file" tab, open it, select "Close", execute, confirm save changes). However, I seemingly do it too fast for this keyboard, since when I try to do it, it doesn't open the file tab (it just show an underlined letter). Apparently the keyboard "thinks" that the Alt key is still pressed when it has been actually released (since it acts as if I was pressing the combination of Alt+cursor down instead of pressing and releasing Alt and then pressing cursor down). It works when I do it slowly, but I haven't had any problems typing the same sequence very fast in other (way cheaper) keyboards, so I'm wondering what is happening (I have no other issues rather than that):
- Can be the keyboard (or de Alt key) faulty?
- Is that (the time the keyboard "thinks" the key is pressed after having released it) something that can be configured by software and/or modified using different keyboard components?
- Is there no issue here and I only have to get used to it because this is the way this keyboard works?
