Blackwidow Elite Volume Dial - misbehaving

    Hello and good day :)
    like many other people, I am having the same issue as them, with the multimedia volume dial. It acts radically and randomly. I see it exists on Blackwidow and Huntsman, possibly others too.
    1. When using it, the volume will jump up and down, no matter if I try and raise or lower the volume;
    2. Instead of adjusting the level by 2 points, it'll jump by anywhere from 2 to 20 points at a shot;
    3. The volume will sometimes just change by itself, when the keyboard isn't even remotely being touched;
    4. The volume will sometimes just change by itself, when the keyboard is touched by the mouse cable;
    5. Mute/Unmute works just fine and stop/play with previous/next work fine as well;
    Purchased in July 2019.
    The problem appeared around august of 2019 and hasn't dissapeared even once since.
    New Windows installed in October 2019 (along with synapse etc.) - issue persists.

    As of today, October 1st, 2020, the details are:
    Windows 10 build: 1909, 18363.1016
    Synapse 3 build: 3.5.907.90217

    Where do I submit serial, product number?
    How can this be fixed?

    The keyboard have a firmware issue that spams keys randomly and not just the dial and they refuse to admit that it's the firmware and keep saying your products is blah blah blah, meanwhile so many people have the same issue|
    and they already have a firmware update for another blackwidow model that had the same issue !

    I found Razer BlackWidow 2019 Firmware Updater but I am guessing this is the one you refer to. It doesn't even detect my keyboard.

    yes that's for the blackwidow non elite, search this form for blackwidow elite and see how many people reported the same issue, i opened 2 tickets in support, reddit... all they say is to get a replacement since my keyboard is new which isn't the issue the replacement will probably get the same problem and they don't want to recognize it as a firmware problem and also i can't provide a video of the issue since it happens so randomly and i can't reproduce it

    I have it constantly. Even with Synapse completely closed :/ we will see. I filed an RMA with the local official distributor. I don't mind a new one, as I am too lazy to clean haha but the volume dialer was a selling point for me over the Huntsman, along with the price tag. So...it matters!

    ***UPDATE***
    replaced the keyboard with a brand new (same model). Thus far, 1 week - no issues. Sad to see that for 2 weeks+, no one from Razer replied :/
