Blade 14 (2014) Firmware Updater Issue

Hi there,

I've seen a past forum post on this issue, but I haven't seemed to find a proper solution. I am experiencing a kernel power state failure (Event 41) so I figure I'd try to use the Razer provided firmware updater. I am running into an error as follows: "This firmware tool is for use only with Blade & Blade pro series... The application will now close". I read that it was possible that the S/N doesn't match the BIOS' version but it does (checked thru CMD and on the bottom cover). Is anyone aware of a solution to make the firmware updater work? Apologies if this is posted in the wrong place!
