Blade 14 - Touchpad - 2 finger scroll issues

Dear all,

I own a Blade 14 now for about a good week now - got this as new company device. So far i am very happy with the performance, with the form factor, the display, the keyboard BUT i have a huge problem with my touchpad...

The input is missinterpreted a lot, when used in a browser the page is jumping around a lot, when i keep the 2 fingers on the pad, the page starts moving up or down in a jumpy fashion, sometimes the cursor jumps by about 2 cm when doing that.

Does anybody have an idea how to fix those issues ? I did reduce sensitivity already (and increased again since low makes it even worse, mid seems to be the setting with less issues but still a lot), i reinstalled the drivers, i restarted, i have most up to date win 10 as well as updated synapse software.

Razer says it has a microsoft precision glass touchpad - i had a microsoft surface book2 before and the touchpad there was like a dream - filled you with joy to use it. Compared with that its like a butter knife against a scalpel :(

I read quite a bunch of issues about the touchpads of razer... too bad i read it after getting the thing :(

Would be great if somebody had an idea or a solution for that? I am used to work a lot from different places - a working touchpad is crucial and i would really not like to return the device due to a crappy pad since all the other stuff is great.

Thanks!

Ensure that the laptop's firmware is updated by checking the Windows and Razer Synapse updates. Also, check if your laptop's BIOS is on version 1.06 by following the steps from this article. If it's not yet updated, please download the file here. I’ll be locking this thread now. Feel free to send me a PM anytime or visit our self-help options should you have other questions or concerns.
