Can anyone explain why the fans spin on and off while the laptop is idle. I did not even start Chrome or anything. super annoying and unnecessary

Cpu is around 40-50 celcius. Please make a custom fan curve in bios or synapse tool the top priority, No need to spin the fans below 60.

Hey Zaagtand! Thanks for posting this on our support board. Allow me to help. By the way, when did the issue start? Were there any changes done before the laptop's fan behavior started? Please send me the following:

a. Synapse logs (Please follow the steps on the links below)

https://support.razer.com/articles/1665003591 - Synapse 2.0
https://support.razer.com/articles/1764787021 - Synapse 3.0

b. A video where I can hear the fan while showing the Windows task manager's processes tab.

c. BIOS main tab

1. Navigate to settings. You can get there by clicking the gear icon on the Start menu.
2. Select Update & security.
3. Select Recovery from the left menu.
4. Click Restart Now under Advanced startup. The computer will reboot to a special menu.
5. Click Troubleshoot.
6. Click Advanced options.
7. Select UEFI Firmware Settings. If you don't see this icon, then press Startup Settings, instead. When your PC is restarting, tap F1 (or F2) to access the BIOS.
8. Click Restart.
9. Your system will restart and take you to the BIOS window.

d. System Information (Press Windows Key+R on your keyboard. Inside the Run dialog box, type “msinfo32.exe”)

Please save the files via Google Drive or to another online drive account then paste the link together PM. I'll pick it up from there.
