Blade 15 Advance Heating Issue

Hi, I recently purchased a Blade 15 Advance last year.
Been trying it out and well... it's pretty toasty
temps hit 95c-100c while gaming on low settings and max fan speed.
would like to know if this is normal...

Using HWmonitor and HWinfo

Which game and synapse profile?

Path of Exile.
Sorry but I do not understand what does the synapse profile mean.

Balanced or gaming mode on performance tab. Gaming mode overclock the gpu by +100mhz on core and +300mhz on memory, it stress the cpu more, unless you have cpu low temperatures like 80ish in game I won’t recommend using it.
The pictures above were in Gaming mode, in balanced mode it sits around 85c-95c and hitting 100c sometimes.

The picture here is after 20mins or so of gaming in Balanced mode with max fan.

Still a bit high on balanced mode, the most cpu demanding titles like AC Odyssey and SoTR that i played, it was not reaching mid 90ish, on some cores may hit low 90ish. OW on gaming mode similar with your balanced mode, maybe a bit lower, without undervolting it may be higher but I never play games without undervolting.

Ohh understood, May I know what I can do? any settings or do I RMA?

Since I don’t know about the game and your setting well, I want to know first if you undervolting it or not, and your temperature with similar application. Do you have 3Dmark Firestrike or Intel XTU?

I've got Intel XTU.
I wasn't undervolting in the pictures above.
other games like OW would have the same temps.

Pictured is bendmarking with IntelXTU
Battery settings is plugged in at Better Performance (middle one)
Synapse profile is in Balanced, Fan speed auto.

P.S it melted a spot on my dbrand skin that I have on the underside of the laptop. CPU spot.

It’s actually not bad temperature running xtu benchmark without undervolting. With undervolting it should be better. Try first -0.125V voltage offset undervolte, see if there’s some improvement on benchmarking and gaming. First try balanced mode, if you have good temperature like low 80ish then you can try gaming mode.
Note also Intel XTU undervolting Value is often resetting to default (0), you’ll notice that if you get used to monitoring temperature like using MSI Afterburner on screen display.
Don’t be hesitate to undervolte, I believe most gaming laptops owner doing that, and it won’t also void the guarantee, it’s free lower temperature, slightly quieter Fans noise, better battery life and better performance tweak.
Benchmark 1 is without IntelXTU undervolt,Synapse Balanced, Fan Auto.

Benchmark 2 is with IntelXTU undervolt, Synapse Balanced, Fan Auto

it’s fine on enable Turbo Boost, xtu benchmark is similar with cpu usage on gaming, try stress test it should be on 70ish with cpu usage 100%. I think you can also use manual Fans or lowering undervolte value like to -130mV to keep it on 80ish on xtu benchmark or gaming.

Hmm, alright i'll try that out.
currently using -130mV
gosh, this is really a toasty laptop thou
Temps for games like OW were pretty alright 80-90ish with 100c hits once in a while.
but environment play a big part eh? cause I don't use it in an airconditioned area.
