Blade 15 Advanced 2019 Fan Speed "Auto" never speeds up. "Manual" works fine.

I never notice the fans pick up speed when it is left on Auto. They do spin, but very slow, slower than the 3700 RPM of the low end Manual setting on Balanced. Even doing basic browsing streaming etc, computer can get pretty warm because there's basically no airflow. Turning it on lowest manual setting brings very quick cooling. That being said, it never overheats to the point of glitching or noticeable problems even when playing games and getting pretty hot.

I bought this laptop used, installed Windows fresh on new SSD. I've gone through the steps of a clean reinstall of Razer Synapse to deal with recurring lockup of Synapse after sleeping, which that fixed. No other problems.

I would prefer to leave the system on Auto and let it adjust the fans as needed. I searched forums but found no mention of this. Googling showed a couple people reporting this issue, but I found no solutions. Any help would be appreciated!
