A few months back I purchased a brand new Blade 15 Base (2018). Everything was working well until about a month ago I noticed the startup sequences started to get concerning.
Here''s what it does every time if it's been off for a bit:
1) Keyboard lights up and drive spin up for about 5 seconds, then turn off.
2) Keyboard lights up and drive spin up again for about 5 seconds, then turn off.
3) Keyboard lights up, drive spins up, screen turns on for 2 seconds, then turn off.
4) Laptop starts normally
I'm getting concerned this is damaging the laptop. I reached out to support and they had me reset windows and then try a few patterns of holding down power, plug power in, unplug power, etc. No change. Any thoughts?
