The 300hz panel is dope. I mean im still stuck at 75hz but damn 300hz must feel intense.

I mean the 10th gen intel is fine but would have loved to see Ryzen since the intel chips already run just as hot or even more so. Would have made it a productivity beast but I guess Razer is targeting gamers with this release more.

Oow, the new Razer Blade Pro 17 is freaky good! This laptop could run every game in the next 2-3 years at max for sure.

ALUMINUM UNIBODY ( I LOVE IT )
- CNC milled and cut from a single aluminum block for a robust frame. The anodized matte finish protects against external scratches.

One question because I didn't see if the display is flicker free, at all levels of brightness?

So I'm trying to figure this out. Previously, I was looking at the latest Blade 15 Advanced with an OLED display, except it is backordered. Now there is the new Blade Pro 17, and aside from the lack of OLED and the addition of an Ethernet port, I don't see much difference. Similarly configured, the Blade Pro 17 is $500 more that the new 15 Advanced but I'm scratching my head as to why. The CPU for both is the i7-10875H, both GPUs are the RTX 2080 Super Max-Q, so performance will be equal. Oddly, the battery on the Blade Pro 17 is a lower capacity 70.5Whr, compared to the 80Whr on the 15 Advanced. Is the 120Hz 4k panel on the Blade 17 really $500 more than a 15" OLED screen?

I'm torn, the Blade 17 does allow for 2 M.2 devices, so more expansion, and it's in stock - at least for now. I just have become absolutely spoiled with OLED displays, but that is not an option on any 17" machine yet, so by getting the Blade 17, I feel as though I'm giving up a better screen on the 15 Advanced (at least for my purposes) and longer lasting battery. Thoughts???

No performance would be better on Blade pro, due better cooling solution and bigger cooling head room, last gen was also similar cpu gpu combination but pro model use higher gpu tdp that even better than most maxq laptops out there, for example on jerrodtech rtx2070 maxq Blade pro 2019, it beats performance most 2080maxq laptops he reviewed, and gpu synthetic benchmark showed 2080maxq Blade pro put in same range with an alienware Area 51m with full fat rtx 2070 desktop with two powerbrick and almost twice overall weight including power adapter.
About 4K Oled vs 4K 120 Hz as a Gamer i personally would vote the later with all of my heart for sure, 60Hz is maybe for video editor, I’ll cry having 60Hz with that beast gpu.

Remember when I commented about the Blade 13 kicking posterior?

Well this one simply put, can kick rears so hard it can send the competition and the fps of your games flying to the moon!

Second to none!

Oh man you making me jealous:wink_:

This would be great to game on the go! Ready up for the post pandemic crisis!

How crispy 300Hz could be i wonder.Clearly you can't tell the difference from 240 to 300.

Sounds like perfection
The 300hz refresh rate is nice but does anyone actually know what the response time is like and is it comparable to a desktop 144hz 1ms gtg response time experience for CSGO and valorant?

This piece must be more precious the gold atm. Jesus 300hz refresh rate.
Nice device. As always, a proud award in the Max. Config.
Hello Guys what is this about??
Userlevel 7
Skipped right past 144hz, nice!
Userlevel 7
Just look at that sexy screen!

Nicely done by a company who offers high end specs.
With how much this machine keeps getting refreshed I’m surprised we haven’t seen a mercury white model yet.

I guarantee that'll eat through either your battery or your electricity meter.
Hi, I have received my unit for roughly a week now, the 2080 super max q one. Great machine, nice design and make like every Razer Blade I owned. However, I found that I cannot update the graphic driver because it says the driver is incompatible with the windows or the hardware. It is now running on the driver released in April. I am wondering whether this is an individual issue or you guys are working on a manufacturer update for the upcoming windows update? I have encountered some stability issues with the old driver, please help me out.
Hey need the support page to have the download links for the needed drivers. Put in a 2TB nvme and don't have drivers to download for the razer pro 17 2020 edition. Only thing that shows up under download is the manual.

That seems to be an ongoing issue. You will have to wait for razer to update the drivers because it won't let you install direct from nvidia for some reason.
