Blade 2016 Preorder Shipment Delay

    Same here. But I don't think this means that they will do the shipment. I guess this is merely a automatic status change as they previously planed to ship on the 31st. My order still says ship from 31st even though I got that delay email. They just didn't change the system setting I suppose.

    In previous delays, I don't ever remember them charging my card. Usually that means it shipped already. If they charged all our cards and delay the product, there's going to be some serious issues with people...

    I ordered Mar 25 and also got charged and am 'in process"

    My card was also charged, but "Ships from the 31st" has changed to "Boxed Shipment."

    No more mention of pre-order status or supposed ship dates...

    Yeah, that's all part of their automatic process. Once it hits the date it changes to In process and boxed shipment. What doesn't happen automatically though is charging your credit card, which is why I'm hopeful it will actually ship. See this thread and search for "in process" and "charged" and see what I mean. It's actually entertaining looking back at it.

    I ordered a 512GB the day after orders opened and mine has also just moved to the "Boxed Shipment" status. My cc says the transaction is pending, but it doesn't appear to have actually been charged yet. (I thought they didn't charge until the order shipped...)

    It's only pending because it was just charged. It shouldn't even be pending unless they shipped it out though(or are shipping it soon). Otherwise it's just holding up funds on your card or bank account.

  7. Was also charged and order moved to in progress, boxed shipment. I guess we'll see something over the next few days somehow.

    Was charged last night as well but based on that thread i dont think we should be getting excited. Seems like razer has a history of botching launches and still havnt learned.

    Furthermore, the lack of communication from Razer on this issue has really made my question my loyalty to the brand. 6 pages in a week from confused customers and you cant at least give us a brief summary of the problem? Unacceptable.

    Trust me, I'm not getting excited lol. Yeah, there was one guy on that thread that got charged early without shipment for a couple weeks. I was in "limbo" for a couple weeks(in progress but not charged). I eventually cancelled because the MS store got it in stock before they did somehow. That could potentially be the case with this one too, so keep an eye on that.

    Min also tweeted to someone that they should be shipping by mid-April, so there's another reason not to get excited.

  13. It does not matter if it is not coming out until mid-April, they should NOT charge our cards until it is actually SHIPPED. That just isn't right.

    Agreed. THIS is a reason to get upset. I'll take delays all month but not money on my card getting reserved for no reason. If I don't see a shipping notification tonight, I'll be calling them up.

    They do need to rework their production and shipping systems. If you say that something is shipping at this dat, dont throw it back 3 weeks a few days before the original date it met. Although I do feel as though I can wait, if there is a software or hardware problem that is stopping them from releasing it, I would like it solved before I receive it.
  18. Of course we want it fixed. I'd just like some kind of update on why there's a delay. More so than that at this point, I'd love to know why we're being charged.

    There's also that chance it gets shipped directly from Taiwan or HK. That would in fact take 2-3 weeks and would be a reason to charge us now. Lenovo has done it to me in the past.
