Blade advanced RTX long term report

I purchased my RTX advanced blade in March of this year. I have used and gamed on the system daily and overall the gaming experience has been good. The games I play run fine and temps are what you would expect from a compact laptop with a 2070 gpu. The build quality is the big issue for me. To date I have had 3 chargers fail. The 3.5 mm jack has stopped working. The battery will only last 1.5 hours just browsing the web. I have not tried to game on the battery so I can't say how long it would last under high gpu load. Support has been a challenge to deal with. I opened a support request with Razer and after 7 days with no response I contacted chat. They asked me to update the bios and do some battery troubleshooting. I get these are general steps to do before and RMA is issued but the tech could not understand that I don not have a working charger and no way to power up the laptop. So now they are refusing to RMA the device until I get a charger and troubleshoot the battery with them. I really don't feel like it should be on me to buy a 4th charger at this point.

I want to love this laptop and from a performance standpoint I do. From a durability stand point I don't Support is what stops me from recommending this device. With this many hardware failures in such a short amount of time I feel like the troubleshooting should be done by support at this point. Telling the customer to buy or borrow another charger before they will RMA the device isn't acceptable to me. Has anyone else had similar issues with support or is it just me?

It's pretty impossible for 3 chargers to fail. The battery isn't going to last more than a few hours while not gaming. It's not going to last an hour while gaming.

All companies lie about their specs so we buy them. You have to use this laptop as a desktop replacement. Or buy a desktop.

Don’t expect long battery life from a gaming laptop, it has though optimus technology but this technology is often bottlenecked by a lot of things like drivers, apps, windows update etc, in order to get a good battery life you should limiting a lot of things as well, that’s why I got stealth for those purposes, portability and battery life even I can get easily 6 hours paperwork with Blade 15 but sometimes I’m too lazy setting the tweak or killing battery hunger apps.
About the ac adapter feel bad, it was an issue in my model (advanced 2018), but it was apparently addressed and fortunately I don’t have one with my early batch unit (Mai 2018 black vapor chamber). Is it maybe something with your wall socket? Because 4th time try is just unbelievable, unless it’s really a bad luck, about Audio jack I saw also some user reported similar defective i would rise support ticket and let them fix that for you since it’s still under a year.
About CS that saying borrow or buying ac adapter you can told them that you can’t can you, did the same thing with Nvidia when my gpu on Razer Core didn’t work I told them I don’t have time or friend who lend me their PC to Test cpu, ended up by sending the gpu and let them check their self. It was really dead GPU as I thought. A bit out of conversation but i think it could be an example.
When new I could get a few hours out of the battery doing the same tasks. It has progressively gotten worse over time. As far as charges go I have had one quit at home and one at the office. The 3rd quit while it was plugged into my truck. As far as the RMA goes Razer just closed my case with no RMA or explanation. When I called them they told me I would have an RMA within an hour. Still nothing from them over 24 hours since my case was closed. Honesty not a good support experience.
