Bought a Razer Blackshark v2 Pro... Software straight up doesn't work.

I bought myself a Razer Blackshark v2 Pro as I wanted a wireless headset and found a good offer. The headset itself seems fine, however the Synapse 3 software just does not work at all. Here are the problems I've had so far...

  • Turning on my Razer Blackshark v2 Pro headset takes anywhere from 30 seconds to a minute to be detected in Razer Synapse 3.

  • Turning on my Razer Blackshark v2 Pro headset (which has no LED lighting) causes the lighting on all my other razer products (keyboard, mouse, RGB controller) to start cycling random colours instead of using my set profile.
  • The software has the option to auto-switch audio device depending on whether or not the headset is switched on. This just does not work at all.

Has anyone else had similar problems? Genuinely considering sending it back if I can't figure out a way to make it work.

Been playing around with this some more.

The option to auto-switch audio device only works if I physically unplug the USB receiver for the headset. When I do, the THX Spatial Audio device will route audio to my onboard soundcard. If I leave the USB receiver plugged in and power off the headset, the THX Spatial Audio device will continue to route audio to the Blackshark v2 even thought the headset is switched off.

Which, in my opinion, is bloody stupid. Surely I should be able to leave the receiver plugged in and simply turn the headset on and off?
Also realised that the side-tone settings just straight up do not work...
