So i've used the old surround pro software with my kraken pro v2 headset for a long time and it's worked pretty well all this time. It sounds great. But today the sound started to crack and distort when playing any audio, out of nowhere. I turned off the 7.1 sound in the razer software and that solved the issue but as soon as i turned it back on the sound was broken again. I tried reinstalling the software and unplugging my headset but that didn't work. Then i figured it might be time to update software anyways so i tried the new thx razer software but it didnt sound any good. Windows 10 sonic and dolby atmos sound also didnt sound even near as good as Razer Surround Pro and i really want that sound quality that i'm used to.
How did this happen and how do i fix it?
