Last night, while playing games, noticed a burning smell coming from the bottom of the laptop from the power connector side. I shut everything down and took off the bottom and smelled burning plastic from the internal power connector very strongly, and noticed discoloration on the plugged in side on the PCB.
Any ideas for what, if anything would help?
Also, Recently has been shutting down with no warning and cutting power, randomly with no warning, has been doing that for a few months off and on.
And around one year ago, Removed the battery due to the issue of the battery puffing up and pushing on the internals of the laptop. Whether these are related I'm not sure, but want to give the whole picture.
