Buy now or wait for 2020 model?

Title says it all. I don’t mind waiting a couple months if the 2020 model is likely to be released soon or maybe a few months if it will be a significant upgrade. What would you guys recommend?

Not sure if there will be much of an update "soon". They did a refresh around September or so 2019. Buy now while there's deals going on. Can't really see them upgrading anything other than maybe putting the optical keyboard across all models. The current GPUs are still top of the line in the mobile space.

It's hard to say. So far Razer has released a new model once a year. In spring it was the 17", summer the 15" and in autumn the 13". Whether a big update is coming, hard to say. There will probably be a CPU and a graphics update, but it will not be an earth-shattering predecessor.
The 2020 Model is out there - and it's disappointing...

No Ryzen 4900H, still the hot-running and power consuming Intel Chips which are slower... And for Germany still only one Version of the Razer Blade which comes in Mercury White...

And for everyone else:
Oh nice. Someone from Germany here for a change. But we also have the GTX model of the 13" version in black. So here in the online shop but also Media/Saturn and Otto.
And concerning the graphics, this is a big jump to the MX150, as in mine.
Think that this year a Ryzen Model from Razer will come.
In all honesty, I'm pretty happy that I didn't wait for the 2020 model. I don't think its disappointing but I think the 2019 advanced model is a great fit for my needs and the price wasn't extremely high. I think with a RTX 2080 Super, and a 300Hz screen, this will be an expensive laptop

I am shocked they revealed it so soon! haha! Honestly, I didn't think we'd be seeing a refresh so soon. The 300Hz screen looks pretty cool and I like the addition of a 1TB drive as well as the SD card slot (something I wish my 2019 had) Also, I really like the smaller arrow keys, but why only the top and bottom? And what's with that super long right shift key! :confused_: - All in all it looks pretty nice and if I was in the market for a new machine, I'd probably go for it.. But, since my 2019 advanced is still wicked new, I can't justify purchasing this one. I think I'm pretty content with mine.

I am curious what the difference between the RTX 2080 Super (still max Q) vs the RTX 2080 Max q from 2019.

They seem to be one of the select few laptops with a 10th gen intel CPU. It appears they want to be out of the gate before anyone else.

I have a RTX 2060 Super in a Core-X and its nearly the same speed as a RTX 2070 [non-super] I surmise even in the Max-Q configuration it will be significantly faster.

Looks like Razer fixed the keyboard, specifically the placement of the ? key and the shortened right shift. I wished they did that last year - oh well.
