  1. 1st of all , why does this site load so slow?
Is there any downloadable TE profiles?
I want to make a profile similar to my Corsair K70 RGB where you have the keys lighted up as blue, but when you press keys they are reactive and go thru different colors before going back to blue..

For me the site does not load slow. It may be something on your end.
Also, You should be able to do this in the Chroma Configurator, Unless you are on a MAC, and i do not think they have the Chroma Configurator on that right now.

First of all, not sure what to tell you. Insider loads instantly for me?

You can find premade apps, profiles, and game integration compatibility at the Chroma Workshop.

However, it's possible to do what you want in the Chroma Configurator with a custom effect, although it might take a while to make. There might be a better way but here's what I came up with.
    1. Open Synapse, select BW TE Chroma, select lighting, open Chroma Configurator.
    2. Make a Static layer with the shade of blue you want.
    3. Make a Wave layer ontop of previous layer. Use your cursor to select any one single key on the keyboard.
    4. For "Pattern" select the rainbow color in the dropdown box. Adjust this however you see fit (stops, speed, etc.)
    5. Set the settings to: "Start On Key Press" and "End After 1 time"
    6. Repeat steps 3-5 for every single key.
If I understood your desired effect correctly then those steps should give you what you need.

This is what it should look like when you're finished:

Hope that loads for you Goat1, let me know if there are any problems (it's a 1MB gif).
  4. Thanks guys. That's exactly what I'm looking for. Regarding the loading of the site, when I first used it on Firefox it was really fast, then it slowed to a crawl. I have very fast internet and a new router. Other sites are blazing fast. I might try resetting my router and see what happens..

Another thing, which would be much easier, is if you could put a base layer.. say white, then add starlight to it, but starlight only activates on key press..

Lol not doubting your internet speed, just saying it works for us I guess, no unsure what the problem is.
Sorry, can't help you there! I have the BW TE Chroma which doesn't have the Starlight preset. I agree though, the Chroma Configurator could be made easier to use. Using my method above, it would take quite a while to get your desired effect across the entire keyboard.
  6. I did use your method and it worked great. Took a while, but I'm very happy with the results. I can upload the profile if you want it. Corsairs lighting is better, but I love the feel of this keyboard.

Hey that's good to hear. Thanks but no need for the upload, I have my own preferences set to match my setup. Just glad that I could help out!

Corsair uses Cherry MX RGB so that gives them an edge over the competition. From what I hear in reviews it seems that Razer's lighting is more vivid, brighter. Have no idea what Corsair's software is like though.
  8. The Razer lighting is much brighter. Corsairs is just fine tho. My Corsair K70 RGB has cherry MX browns.. They feel nice. The Razer green's is more satisfying feeling when typing. I'm using the Razer right now, but the Corsair is good too.

Corsair's software is more complex, which in turn you can do cooler lighting profiles. Most probably won't do anything elaborate. Like the profile on my K70 right now is pretty cool. I can click my Corsair sabre mouse and the colors will run from the mouse thru the keyboard when I click the mouse is like a reverse wave, and with every mouse press it will change to a different color. So if its red and I click right away it will follow with blue, then yellow, green ect.. Very cool..
