Cant update Kiyo pro

HI,

I want to update my Razer Kiyo Pro firmware to fix auto-focus issues.

Originally, I was able to view my camera in Synapse 3 and change some settings, and I was told that new firmware was available. I clicked the URL to download the new firmware, and the website was broken. No firmware to download.

I then tried to revisit my camera's settings in Synapse 3, and the Synapse 3 software reports that my camera is not plugged in.

I've experienced multiple issues like this since owning the camera, like incompatibility with any of my USB 3.0 hubs. I've also experienced multiple issues with this camera on multiple computers, including two different Windows PCs and a MacBook Pro.

While this is a high-quality camera, the software has consistently proven to be problematic. Anyone who wishes to purchase this camera should know that it is not plug-and-play. It takes real work to make this camera work properly, and even then, it will fail you sometimes. This is a software issue; not a hardware issue.

Hey

I found the Download *Removed from public view.
Update version 1.00 to 1.03

My Razer Kiyo Pro won't focus the video, it's always blurred (before and after update 1.03).
I'm of the same opinion, something is wrong with the software.

Hi there! Thanks for posting your Razer Kiyo Pro's concern here. Please click the link that @Sentavius shared. Should the firmware failed to update your device, please follow the steps below:

  • Close the firmware updater application.
  • Unplug and re-plug the camera.
  • Ensure Synapse 3 is NOT running.
  • Ensure the camera is not in use by any application before starting and during the update process.
  • Run the firmware updater again.

Please let me know if it helps.
Thanks, I'll try
