Cant use synapse for 2016 stealth keyboard and new razer mouse

I have a 2016 Razer Blade Stealth and just bought a new Razer Viper Ultimate wireless gaming mouse. Both are chroma-enabled, however it seems that the keyboard on the computer only uses synapse 2 versus the mouse only using synapse 3. Is there any way to connect them so they can be synced for chroma uses?

However, the Razer Blade Stealth 2016 is only compatible with Razer Synapse 2.0, while the Razer Viper Ultimate is only compatible with Razer Synapse 3.0.
