CES 2018 | Razer Chroma Meets Hue

    This is so awesome!!!! I have tons of Razer Chroma peripherals and Philips Hue lighting at my computer desk. This makes me so happy and excited.

    Is this supposed to be available right now? My synapse 3 isn't prompting me for an update. Wasn't sure if I should msg tech support or not yet? Going to reinstall. So hype to get all my hue stuff in sync!!! Just finished my setup and the day I finish installing all these led strips and bulbs and lamps ya'll make this announcement. LIIIIIIIT.

    Yea update didn't prompt to me either just yet. App showed me a new update today so updated Hue app and made entertainment area but aside from that no prompt. Here's to hoping it'll come soon

    Hey! Make sure to update your Philips Hue bulbs through the Philips Hue App first. Second, you gotta make sure they're on the same network.

    Make sure the Hue Bulbs you want to sync are in an Entertainment Group!

    It's going live on Synapse 3 in about 36 minutes from now. Midnight PST, 8am GMT, 9th Jan :)

    I'm not sure I understand what is meant by "add an entertainment group" as this is something I've never heard of on the Hue app. Are you simply referring to grouping the lights into a room?

    It's a new feature for Philips Hue that is enabled via a firmware and software update. Just make sure you update them both before jumping into Synapse.

    I was planning to install new lights in my room as well in my son's. He'll be happy to learn this great news!

    I have found the entertainment section and how to add them, my lights are up to date, but I still cannot see anything in Synapse 3

    Check again in a few minutes. Synapse 3 update started rolling out at midnight PST. Might take a few minutes before users from around the world start getting update notifications. Manually checking for update might help too.
