I've never been super into the extra lighting - but this might just change my mind. This looks like so much fun!!

Do understand that there are teams working on different projects in parallel. Working with Hue does not mean work on our other products stop.

So if My Computer is Shut downed, I'm still able to control my light strips with Google Home ? I just want to know when synapse takes control over Hue and when I'm able to control with my voice :)

Yes when Synapse or your computer is off you are able to control your lights again.

the Light Sync will only be active once you start up Synapse.

So i add my hue's lights. But i was wondering can there be a clock added so they don't run in the day or a way to set a clock to a not run at times. I get a lot of light in my room in the day time. I think it be nice to have something like that in the app so i don't have to turn it off and on every day and night.

    The lights look amazing *AMAZING*

The fact that I don't live in a smart-home hurts.

I was thinking the same thing.

Just looking at the Hue website, I was interested in seeing who else Hue partners with, and was a little bummed to see that it works with Logitech (it's so hard to NOT be die-hard and "Razer Only" - Logitech has its place in my life, but only as far as Powerpoint remotes for corporate presentations go).

Then I read further and saw that the Logitech functionality was only that it worked with the Logitech Harmony remote; NOT anything about doing stuff with RGB gear by Logitech.

Cool that Razer was definitely the first to integrate Hue with the color programming of their gaming gear and software! I think the hardest thing for me right now is to decide: what is my next Razer purchase? Naga Trinity, Mamba and Firefly with Hyperflux, or — probably the easiest sell to my wife — Philips Hue for the lounge?

I would get something from Phillips Hue if I never had those older strip lights I got at costco a few months ago, but when they give out I will likely go pick up some Hue lights.
Razer also did say they were partnering with other companies like Lian Li (Case Maker), and Lian Li showcased a couple of cases with Razer Chroma integration but I never really heard of them after, I think one of them came out but it did not have anything to do with Razer. I hope something comes out of that partnership, and it would be nice if Razer could get together with some kind of Case fan manufacturer to make some good case fans to match the Chroma HDK, mainly for the people who put the HDK in their PC's and use some other fans of some sort.

Hahaha, so my announcement about a new Razer "fan" might throw some people upon reading this? ;)
